I know this video has been up for a while, but I just want you to know that people like you are who made me want to get into making music. Music has completely changed my life. It gave me the strength to keep going and still is. I hope you never stop chasing what makes you happy, because it's made me and many others want to do the same. Thanks.
If I ever stop to question my sanity in investing in eurorack this washes away all my concerns. Beautiful sounds. I am now inspired to get patching this evening.
Seriously loving your 'on the roof vids'. Quick question, is that a sh 101 you're using for the lead melody? GASing for that synth, badly. Or a Atlantis!

I come back to this video 5 years later and the feelings are the same. Incredible composition. Truly inspiring.
This is fantastic -- love the skyline, love the music. Be great to see it go global.
This whole series is lovely, just lovely.
Amazing. Can imagine the chill that you feel in that roof with your synths
I love the wall of sound man. Covered all sonic ground. Sick work.
A beautiful voyage.
Thank you, Nick.
A few timelapses would perfectly fit with this beautiful music

So beautiful. Thank you. I wish I knew of a place here in NJ where I could go to hear your music or some other artist such as yourself live.
Это просто не описать словами :) Не выразить красоту вашей музыки словом. Вы, тот самый Карлсон, который живёт на крыше!
Спасибо.
Hey Nick...one more request to put this one on Bandcamp. I keep coming back to it. Good music...
Such great composition in your work, not at all easy to do with a modular 👍
niiiiice emotional vibes, with the deepped modular song
really cool!oriental vibes!!
gorgeous!
I don't need to get into modular synthesis.
*watches this video*
...Dangit
spectacular performance! wow.
That Monologue sound at 3:00 is just gorgeous.
that quantized LFO trick was really cool! great job on this one.
hey! thanks! it's one of my favorite things to do since i got my quantizer module :)
What quantizer is used?
Would also like to know which quantizer if you have any specifics! thanks for another great production.
blue lantern duo quantize
that was the best thing i've ever heard
This is absolutely amazing. I find this piece so inspiring, i want to sell off some of my synth gear to get into a modular system.
I got that same big muff bass pedal, sounds good on my Volca Bass!🎹🎧😵👌👍
and then you just hope it doesn't start raining
no rain clouds in that sky
Just baffled about this, how is it sequenced? The harmonics/chords in the beginning is just so lovely.
Hopes :) Beautiful !
Please make a high quality audio version of it in your studio, the song is too good !!!! :-)
Lovin the Minilogue.
is it just me or has the modular gotten bigger since last time?
They have an incredibly strong tendency to do that.
one of my fave motr
Lovely!
So cool!
Amazing!
Just finding out about this. It is so incredible.
Brilliant.

The sound of falling in love for the first time.
Reminds me so much of Boards of Canada.

07:30 goosebumps
This piece is incredible!! Any plans to put it up on Bandcamp like your first Modular On The Roof piece is?
Second the motion. when is the #Modularontheroof LP coming out on vinyl? haha
Enchanted. Do you have a modular grid page?
I wanna learn
Hope you have a lot of money. He has about 3k or 4k worth of synths there
Ah, truer words were never commented.
Extremly nice! Whats making the chords in the begining?
lovely series! really inspiring, how did you sync your minilogue with the eurorack if i may ask? thanks!
You make some fucking powerful shit, man.
Good lord this is so soothing as fuck. Love it
How do you do that sound at 1:38, i have heard something similar in Touch - Daft Punk. Is it possible with an MS20? Great song btw :D
SH 101 and an Atlantis... kinda totally epic
I don't have the capital, time, or patience to deal with Modulars, so I'll just be content doodling around with my Alesis Micron from time to time :)
very good
this is fucking beautiful by the way!!
this is so cool, I'm selling my acoustic instruments for some eurorack !
Grossartig
Seriously loving your 'on the roof vids'. Quick question, is that a sh 101 you're using for the lead melody? GASing for that synth, badly. Or a Atlantis!
Nice
nice man
Someone knows what module is the one who sound like an arp? going up and down over and over?, thanks
Please share where in the world this roof is so that I can check it out on Google.
What are you looping the sh-101 through?
A lot of C418 vibes
Do you want some channel art? I can whip you something up really quick, I mean, its better than a blue P.
sure! message me
so that didn't work out i see
we're still waiting
still waitin
How much does stuff like this cost all together?
Most of those modules are $200
The Korg Minilogue you can find gently used for around $400 now. Not sure what else he's using besides a Big Muff fuzz pedal ($80))
The Roland SH-101 is around $1000
I recommend buying one thing, mastering it, and then expanding.
reminds me of Plantasia 8-)
What keyboard is that there in front?
the darker gray one looks like an sh-101, the lighter gray one is a korg minilogue
I am the only one that don't undestand wtf is this?
Lucas Abilidebob Ambrosio yep
music
Oh, now it is cleaner than before. HAHAHAHA
Taking advantage that you are here, will not you do violin videos anymore?
Beautiful
