The most important thing with Landscape photography is getting yourself to the location in the first place then it comes down to your experience and eye which is only developed over numerous occasions of , getting yourself to the location in the first place ! Really liked the first image with all the stripped of bark , great light and conditions. Think there may even of been some talent in there as well !! Hope your well all the best mate !
I'm for sure one of those "untalented" lot. LOL I do believe that it does take somewhat of a talented artists eye...to see something that many don't...probably gained through many experiences. For me, it is all about just getting out, clearing the mind and giving Otis his best life. Great go! Bruce and Otis
Patience & dedication are definitely key and just getting out and keep doing the same thing over and over again. Awesome shots once again champ. The frame at 5:20 or so is absolutely beautiful! Have a good one!
Great conditions, wonderful woodland and great advice Jez... doing it for the love me. Talent... nopeI I am deffo in the talentless group - in fact I often say as far as compositions I see a scene and just take the image I see - don't taking myself too serious too.. .. great set of images mate. Btw.. I have been out this week with an Ozzie vlogger - showing them around our wonderful waterfalls, think they enjoyed themselves... atb Al
Great images and Vid. Photography is all about enjoyment. If you enjoy something, you learn it, do it and eventually get good at it. I also have zero talent. But, luckily I live in Hervey Bay. A place that is impossible to take a "bad" shot.
Hey you 'You No Talent Bum' 😂 just kidding I would struggle with the landscapes you have to photograph. All I have to do is look for the worn patch on the ground and stand in it shooting what I see. Your talent is finding the composition in visual noise of the bush/woods. I too have a great talent for falling over 😂
You certainly put in the hard yards mate. You deserve your success for sure. Love the second shot, very painterly.
Cheers matey
Nice clutch of pics there Payne.
I try lol

Yeah to hash on the craft maybe a percentage is talent, but hard work pays off.

Your talent lies in finding an image others would not see.
