I don't have a zipper video at the moment but I will definitely be doing one in the future! I do have a video on sleeves called "How to sew a set-in sleeve". I did a video on copying a men's button down too. It's called "why your knockoff sucks". I plan on expanding more on cloning clothes, but I hope those 2 videos help you out! If you want something more specific than what those offer, let me know!
Awesome awesome awesome video! Thank you so much for this. As a newbie just thinking about the stitching and the line up makes me anxious but I love this practice suggestion because I can gain confidence w/o wasting thread. Makes practicing with thread that much better. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, this came at the right time! A video suggestion I have is about all kinds of fabric! What fabric works to create whatever garment with a lot of visual examples and tips to sew particular fabrics.
That's a good idea! I don't have a huge variety of fabrics at the moment, but I'll look and see what I can do. Either way, I'm adding it to my list of videos to do! Thanks!
Fantastic! Please make more very basic beginner friendly videos. Do you have any suggestions on how to get control over the pedal? I’m using a singer simple and it feels way too fast for me. 😞
Honestly, sewing on paper helped me get comfortable with the speed of an industrial machine the most. Also, I try to focus on doing short spurts instead of keeping my foot on the pedal the entire length of a seam. If practice isn't helping much, look and see if you can purchase a speed control foot pedal for your machine, and if all else fails get a needle guard to make sure you don't sew through your fingers!
I am ashamed to ask, I am so new to sewing that I don't know what the bias means or how to find the grain of the material. Could you please do a video on that?
This exercise is to help you get used to sewing tight turns and moving the fabric around so I'm sewing directly on the line by looking at the line on my foot. When you're sewing a project with seam allowance, you'll use the guides on the sewing machine plate.
I like these videos for “newbie” sewists.
Would love a beginning video on inserting sleeves, putting in zippers ( invisible or not) or cloning an existing piece. This is great!!!

I really loved your A to Z series by the way. I heavily reference back to it!
Thanks, I need to get back to it!
Ooh, I feel like this will be helpful since I'm just starting. Going to get some paper and a marker right now!
Oh, I'm so glad! Good luck!
This is very cool. A good way to improve my machine control. Thank you!
Oh this is so helpful! Going to try this tonight.
Yay! Let me know how it goes!

Omg my circle. 😂 I have lines down tho
So what is up with UA-cam? It is 11 p.m. on Saturday August 15th and I just got my notification, yet you posted this three days ago.
Hmmmm🤔🤔🤔
That's so annoying! I pick my upload times based on when my subscribers are online, but it's pointless if youtube does this!
@@TheAwlNighter1 yeah, 3 days is bullshit. It was up on my screenof my smart TV but the notification did not come on my phone until three days
How to do Revere collar please.
Okay, I'll add it to my list!

So you stare at the foot's line instead of the needle?

@@TheAwlNighter1 ok thanks for the explanation
What machine is that? Looks like it costs the earth 😁
Its the Husqvarna Epic! It's a sewing and embroidery machine which is why it's so huge!
