my mirror lid isn't closing properly too. anyone has any idea why? i tried to adjust some screws around that area starting from 17:15, but it doesn't seem to work. for now im just putting some weight on it hoping it'd resolve on its own haha!
were you able to fix it? mine is doing the same. when I close it the back portion lifts out of place?

Welcome. I can't say for sure. But try to open the screws that prevent it from opening. See 16:30 and see if screws like 15:20 are tight.

Refer to your instructions when you get to that part he actually mounted it wrong. The instructions show the pole mounted closest to the mirror and the bracket flips so it will be outside the pole.

your mirror lid is closing properly
at the beginning no. we had to put weight on the mirror
@@th3blogger You shouldn’t have had to put weight on it. One of the fixings may have needed loosening or adjusting.
@@th3blogger For how long did you have to put the weight on the mirror to get it to close properly? I just assembled one and ran into exactly the same problem. I don't want to have to return it if there's a simple, reasonable fix. Thanks for the video and your help!

The hydrolic part is jacked up and broke the cheap ass particle board. Thanks ikea
