This is not Nepali accent. If someone has very limited education in English or from rural areas, they might sound like this. Dont insult Nepalese people. They are very polite and brave people. And dont say to expect this kind of English from everyone when traveling Nepal.

I can confirm not everyone sounds like this who is Nepali
Most of use speak fluent English
Mostly children
But not all of us
Some of us have those years of Nepali stuck on our words

Some people were offended by this, and I understand that this accent does not represent Nepali speech accurately. I'm helping Nepalese (and other) people to learn English and I find a model like this, even though it is not accurate, helpful in identifying communication problems. Thanks for posting this and I'm sure no disrespect was intended.

Yeah sure this isn't how Nepali accent sounds like but I would not go as far as to say that it is like British. All of us have different accents which is more or less determined by the language we speak most frequently on a daily basis and considering ours is Nepali I don't think that we sound British....at all.

Not at all. In fact most Nepalis have absorbed americanisations, such as the word for Tomato is more like the American. I'm a British Nepali, English is my first language and I'll say going to Nepal, Nepalis speak more of an americanised English.
