i use the neo vista ahead of the superblast1, reason being it rolls through faster and for me its sweet spot 4:30/5min km's the only negative its grip not so good on wet leaves so no fast corners and if it had a carbon plate this shoe would fly. SB1 is better uphill being firmer.
Thanks for the comments! I'll be doing a comparison video between the two shoes (SB 2) so will give my full thoughts, but the neo vista is definitely a fun shoe. Being a stability runner, the main thing that points me towards the SB 2 is that it's more stable. It's also slightly heavier and the midsole is softer. At the end of the day, however, we are all unique and what works best for us is what we should wear.
Need help. Last year, you recommended Superblast - it was ideal for me as I tend to pronate a bit. This year, I am running the Berlin Marathon and I still do not have race day shoes, Superblast 2 is always out of stock unfortunately.
Let's see....The Neo Vista could work if your pronation is mild. Other options in "Super Shoes" could be the Endorphin Pro 3 or 4 and maybe even the Adidas Adios Adizero Pro 3. These are neutral plated racers with some inherent stability. You may want to consider the Saucony Tempus as it's stable, relatively light, and has the super-foam used in the Endorphin Pro series.
Bill, should I be worried that you have not put out a running/training video for two weeks? Are you still having illness/injury problems? Are you okay? Are you still "on" for Chicago .... or postponing it until next year?
@@cathynewyork7918 Hey Cathy!...I'm going to do an update after my Sunday run tomorrow. As for my health, I'm back to 100% and back to training. If all goes well tomorrow and this coming week, Chicago is still in play.
@@oldmanvanrunning Bill, thank you for your reply. That is really good news that you are well and healthy and back on track for Chicago! "Lace up those shoes and ...." ..... well, you know the rest of the sentence.
Hey buddy, thanks. do you think is it worth to get them togehter with Superblast 2? I've got Superblast 1 and bought also version 2 and love this shoe. in Superblast 1 I've already done more than 800km so soon will skip to version 2. But this Mizuno looks great too, so thinking if it would be good companion to Superblast if it's softer and maybe better for easy runs and save superblast for longer tempos.
@@peterkisidaj9329 I definitely think it's worth it as long as one doesn't need significant stability. If you're a neutral to mild stability runner, this makes sense.

Nice review. Please include a comparison in your Superblast 2 review. Looking forward to it!
@@geoffb2900 Thanks! Will definitely do so!
Thanks for the info, looks like a fun shoe. Glad you’re doing better with health. Stay safe.
