- A few hours ago, we got unexpected Chronicle Banner leaks and upcoming banner lineup changes!
Today, we’ll be discussing the new updated banners from 5.2 to 5.3, including the Chronicle Wish banner, changes in reruns, new leaks about the seven-day login event, and leaks related to Capitano.

That’s all about the 5.3 banner. Now, let’s talk about the Chronicle Wish banner.
A few hours ago, we got leaks from Flying Flame about the Chronicle Wish, which will be in version 5.3.
It’s an unexpected banner! I thought we’d only see Chronicle Wishes in filler patches, but 5.3 is far from being a filler with Mavuika in it.
This time, it’ll be a Liyue Chronicle Wish, and after months of waiting, we finally got it!
We don’t have info on the exact characters in the Chronicle Wish yet, but we can speculate. Event-exclusive 5-star characters who haven’t appeared in at least three banners might be included.
Possible candidates are Keqing, Qiqi, Ganyu, Hu Tao, Yelan, and Zhongli.
Since Hu Tao is expected to get her rerun in 5.1, we can exclude her. I’m not sure if Yelan’s rerun counts as recent for 5.3.
I wouldn’t trust this leak for now until we get more info.
Lastly, we have some details about the 5.2 event. It’ll focus on Rhinedottir, also known as Gold, one of the Five Sinners.
The event will portray her in a less evil light, and Scaramouche will only appear at the end of the event.
It’s a bit disappointing that we won’t see our hat guy until the end, but it’ll still be interesting if we get to learn more about Rhinedottir’s past.

You have it in reverse. The meme about mavuika having a motorbike because of her drip. Hoyo designed her drip to fit her riding a motorbike. So it was their plan all along.

Why would Father be coming like 4 months after he last run? Makes zero sense when tons of other characters haven't had a re-run in ages. When was the last time wriothesly was up? Or zhongli? Ganyu? List goes on.
Alhaitham's first banner was in 3.4, second was in 3.7
Think about it from hoyos perspective for a moment. Money. Characters like zhongli, ganyu etc were good back in the day, and a lot of people wanted them. However at this point there are fewer people who want them than people who want say arlecchino, furina or etc. Its always money. Theyre just a company after all, they want money.

Columbina being playable still makes no sense. Capitano has been foreshadowed for Natlan since Mika's release, and no official hints have been given that Columbina will make an appearance, yet alone be playable instead of him. Like, imagine if instead of Arlecchino, we got Sandrone in 4.6, that would have been such a nonsensical decision too.
I mean, she can still make a debute as we are only in 5.0, but after building up Capitano so much it would be sheer nonsense to make another Harbinger playable. That is unless they decide to kill his character, which would be ridiculous :D
rule of thumb, dont ever have any kind of expectation toward Hoyo. especially if it is something sensible, Hoyo dont have that. that said, foreshadowed, teased, appeared, doesnt guarantee playable. Signora and Dottore should tell you something, and Wanderer become playable instead Dottore should also tell you something
@@3Prism It was completely logical to have Scara become playable since he was introduced so early into the story, and save Dottore for later (Cryo region). Killing off Signora was unexpected, but I doubt they'll do something similar again looking at how popular characters like Columbina or Capitano are.
Arlecchino was teased for Fontaine in the first trailer, and to no one's surprise she ended up being playable. Outside of Signora we have yet to have a character who couldn't become playable in the future

I will have been waiting for Wriothesley a year by the time he comes. I didn't skip him but I'd only been playing genshin a week when his banner ended so I just didn't stand a chance of getting to pity. Now I have about 380 wishes, on my guarantee, all mats for level 90 and triple crown, plus a really good marechaussee set for him. Planning to get c1r1. I've mostly quit playing until he comes...
This is literally my exact situation. I have wrio and his c1, no weapon, just widsith that I had sitting around. I was around for shenhe's last banner a millenia ago, but lost before I could get enough wishes back. Been waiting too long and it seems everyone else gets reruns, or we get an entire roster of new characters (emilie showing up out of nowhere). Please hoyo release them from your basement :(

DUDE WAIT FOR SNEZNHAYA TO RERUN WANDERER AGAIN, HE JUST HAD ONE IN 4.7-
I mean, Wanderer having a lot of reruns makes sense given that he is probably the biggest recurring character in Genshin. For people who like to story roleplay, Wanderer has a lot of pull value due to the sheer amount of times that he is in events, since he's in almost every major one.
I'm someone who doesn't do hardcore roleplay like that usually, but there are times when I've actively gimped my party in RPGs just for roleplaying purposes. In SMT II, I brought an early game mook to a late game fight just because I came up for a plotline in my head for him (He was a Temple Knight but I was doing the chaos route so I couldn't unsummon him otherwise I couldn't summon him back due to alignment), and it was super fun.
While it's def annoying that they keep rerunning the same characters over and over, in the case of Wanderer, I'm actually for it because of his importance in almost every event allowing him to continue to be the best unit to pull if you want to play a full roleplay run.

As I was saying before, I think rerunning a character who is, for all intents and purposes, the most important non-protagonist playable character in the story at this point, over and over is fine.
I just dislike when reruns are very blatantly for meta reasons despite leaving some other faves in the dust, because this game is not hard enough to warrant needing the best characters all the time.

Just from a lore perspective I think the 6 that need to help Mauvika save Natlan will all be 5*s. So far we have Kinich, Mualani and Xilonen that are defo 5*s. Iansan I predict is a 5* and that leaves characters from the two other tribes which means chasca is probably the one for her tribe and she’s a 5* from what we know which leaves either Citlali or Ororon for their tribe to be the chosen one. I think in terms of story Ororon makes more sense to be the 5* and the chosen one. It’s clear he’s going to have a moment of clarity or be a double agent or cross capitano then discover his ancient name or whatever it was. Citlali is too accomplished so how hasn’t she discovered her ancient name yet?
I really do hope Mavuika is a dps and gets OP with cons. I want to main an Archon and have been waiting so long for her. That, and I really hope her alt changes forms, she's so sick.

I started to play genshin again last week after teo years. So sad I missed her, already have 120 wishes saved and farmed all her Materials and talents hahaha let her comeee!!

The only Natlan characters I've seen so far that I found myself interested in in any way are:
#1: Mavuika
#2: Chaska
#3: Xilonen
#4: Mualani
That's the list. But! And it's a very important but! If Arlecchino were to reappear, she'd be added to that list as well. I tried a C6 extremely fed Arlecchino out when borrowing her for Imaginarium Theatre. She's flippin' amazing. She was really strong even on C0, with less powerful artifacts. She might even be a contender for my "best unit" spot if I got her. So far that goes either to Ganyu/Xianyun for their overworld convenience, or Neuvillette for his pure damage output. Maybe Raiden/Bennett for fitting on almost any team, but that'd be a stretch. Of course, alternative picks, like Furina/Nahida/Zhongli/Kazuha are also there too, but meh.

What's interesting is that Tower of Fantasy recently got a character that actually fights WITH a motorcycle. I think she came out a month ago, her name is Nola (Pronounced Nora sometimes).
Also, I'm still saving for Wrio, I don't care how long it takes!
Honestly I will pull for chronicled wish rather than archon because archon gets consistent rerun and usually quite fast rerun meanwhile old characters are almost forgotten and it took years for them to get a rerun

I've seen some people in this youtuber's comments who don't really trust the information. I reccomend you Raiden Shotgun, the youtuber provides updated information about rewards and upcoming banners. I think their channel is great overall 🎉
I hate the idea of Arlecchino's rerun coming immediately before Mavuika. Daddy-Mommy needs her scythe (yeah C1ing her might be a better investment, but my god, *the drip* - more than any other character Arle *needs* her signature weapon just on that basis), but if that's the timing, she's not getting it this time. :( About the only thing worse for me would be if Neuvillette or Zhongli were in that spot - in those scenarios, I might actually have to thrown down for some crystals.
Also... Wriothesly, Ganyu, Shenhe... what do these characters we haven't seen in forever, that everybody's begging for a rerun on, have in common? That's right, cryo, the redheaded stepchild of Genshin elements. IMO they're working on a massive overhaul/buff that will affect all cryo characters and will go live with our arrival in Schnezhnaya, and they're holding these characters back to inflate demand so that when they're not only suddenly better but also back after a prolonged absence, it'll be a spending bonanza.
Perinheri is CAP cuz there's a book about HER and if Hoyo pulls another Firefly I'm pulling another Bunny Suit incident.

Capitano can’t be perinheri. Perinheri’s gender changes to be the opposite of the traveler in the official chinese version of the game. Perinheri is the abyss twin.

I don't think yelan's going to be in chronicled wish, in the last one Venti wasn't in it because hoyo said "no recent characters" and Venti had a rerun 4 patches from the last chronicled wish.
