The "event" apparently works completely different from what they said, basically if u lose two 50/50s in a row your next "50/50" actually becomes 75/25, and if u still lose the 75/25, the next "50/50" is literally a 100/0 and u are guaranteed to get a limited time character. And that's what happened, u lost the 50/50 on Mualani banner, and after losing a 50/50 on a Kinich banner, your next 5* had a 75% chance to be limited character.

The 7th 90th wish would be the 4th time in a row that you lose the 50-50 I guess its better than nothing but that's like.. only helps those with abyssmal luck lol
Observer bias I think, last banner I wanted C6 Bennet ended up with C6 Xinyan, C4 Kachina and C1 Bennet, while a friend got basically C17 Bennet, one Kachina and no Xinyan 😅

Im noticing that the natlan characters have a retro/tribal vibe. Mualani kinda had like old graffiti or cartoonish animations and now kinich has old school videogame sounds and animations
I was only planning to get Kinich... But I threw a 10 pull on the weapon banner and got Raiden's weapon + a fate point. Ended up pulling for his weapon now too. (': I relate to the Thoma part. Dude's haunting me ever since I started playing. I have him at C13 now.

Don't get Raiden unless you wanna suffer farming good artifacts for her so that she can do some decent burst damage 💀 cause getting perfect/good artifacts for her is so damn hardd,like even my Xiangling doesn't have a decent build yet, even though I've been farming that damned emblem domain ever since it came out😭😭😭 My Yelan is also sad bc her build is also mediocre ASF 💀
Kinich, I like his design and the detail of the games and also jp voices being Sasuke and Naruto, the problem is that it doesn't feel like a Genshin design, it could be on hi3rd, hsr or zzz, hope that the story quest explains if he found some kind of artifact, traveled to a different dimension or if one of his ancestors has anything to do with other universe and became a Natlan citizen

I went to pull on the character banner hoping to get Chev for the first time (returning player, quit after kazuha came out) and I got her on my second and third pull. Then I got another copy within the next ten. I got very lucky
i spent 140 wishes on kinich but i didnt get him, but somehow went from zero of the 4 stars on the banner to c6 sara and c3 chev, i guess im pulling for raiden now lmao
fyi not getting capturing radiance (glowing pink thing) does NOT mean you lost. you can still win with an average gold 5 star. capturing radiance is just a weird new mechanic for bennett luck people iirc
I ended up doing some Kinich pulls and got him to C3R1, I only wanted C2 but after losing my 50/50 to Qiqi, Genshin decided to trigger capturing radiance alongside my 50/50 loss, so I ended up grabbing myself two Kinich cons for the price of one, I’ve been blessed! I also got Engulfing Lightning for Xiangling so that’s cool too.
The special wish event happens when you lose multiple 50/50s in a row, it's basically another pity layer. Given you got 2 early 50/50 failures beforehand, it was either guaranteed or very likely. (I think it's 50 or 75% of showing up after 2 failed 50/50s, with 100% after 3, but might mix it up and it's those numbers for 2 and 1 failed 50/50 respectively).
Man, your Thoma luck mirrored my Bennet luck last banner. Ended up C6ing him and still pulled six more before getting Kazuha after losing to Mona. Then got another 4 losing Mualani's pity to freaking Tighnari C1.

with 190 saved i got: Kinich Jean Engulfing Lightning Fang of the Mountain king Wolf's Gravestone (In the same pull right after fang) 20~ pulls left over. I have never gotten this lucky. I have a fate point still in the weapon banner but i cant use it cause i already got both lmao.
Everyone has so much trouble getting Chevreuse and then there's me who got her by accident in January and never used her cuz I didn't know she was cracked.
Engulfing is great for Xiangling! But sort of bittersweet because Maviuka is going to powercreep Xiangling and she's right around the corner.... the captured fate redeemed all your bad luck though!
I was sooo set on getting xilonen I farmed for her materials, I literally have an artifact set ready for hear and weapon aswell, then i played the kinich trial… I instantly used all my saved pulls after trying him I lovee the playstyle😭😭 I hope i stil get xilonen tho.
My boy can even skate on the water :D U can't use his shotgun attack tho cuz u will fall down :( I'm not stressing about his wep cuz the Natlan claymore is pretty dang good (especially on r5) and it looks good on him what is most important :D
Great patch, within 110 pulls I got 2x raiden now C2 on my main Account and with 125 fates i got Kinich on my alt Account. I got also C6 Sara on my main.
Karma all that Raiden slander 😅. In 115 from 0 pity. I used it on my first Kinich copy. I got 5 Chevvies (now c6), 2 more Kinichs, 1 Raiden (now c2) a Deya and Qiqi. I had two double five star ten pulls. Been playing since 1.0. That's the first time that has happened on the character banner. That crazy luck has me thinking maybe i shouldn't skip Emillie and Arlenchino reruns. Compare C2/R1 Raiden Chevvy C6 team to C0/R0 Arlenchino. Raiden blessed me a single 10 pull on her side and she came home.
I had to go to hard pity but i got extreemly lucky, won my 50/50 and went from C1 chevy to C6. I think i'm going to keep pulling until my next 5*. If i win my 50/50 again, sweet, c1 Kinich, if i loose, i'll save my garentee, maybe for xilonen, but probably for either mavuika or xiao (if he's on the chronicled wish). hoping i can get at least C4 thoma on the way (at C1 currently) Edit: Also i'm taking Kinich's game asthetic in a very 'monster hunter' game vibe, then it feels a little less out of the norm. i LOVE his design but it does feel like the outliar in the genshin universe

I’ve been planning for Engulfing Lightning during this banner, but for my C6 Yun Jin instead of my C0 Raiden. I’m at guaranteed on-banner 6 pity after Wolf’s Gravestone. I guess I’ll give Dehya the Kinich claymore if I get that instead. Or I could risk getting Kinich instead of waiting for actual-catgirl Dehya. (I’m at 0 pity after a Mualani 50:50 win.)
If you can do the double grappling in other nations, that would be cool. He is a great contender for the wanderer in terms of exploration. But it's only applicable in Natlan. Nonetheless, I still like him.
I can't wait for the nightmare that is going to be me trying to pull for Xilonen C2R1. Have enough pulls for C0 Xilonen guaranteed but I don't want to lose to Chiori weapon since I already have it (but tbf if I pull a 2nd copy it'll just go on Furina since I play her on Navia team). The rest is all luck and credit card lmao
I don't know but I kinda suspect that the lesser you use someone, the more you're gonna get an extra copy for... lol. I like Chevy and she's fixated to my Raiden overload team but I haven't been using that team in like months. Both Kujo and Thoma are also bench warmers for ages, so I got a rather balanced distribution from my 40 pulls thrown in, pushing Chevy up 1 more to C5. But I stopped just at 70 pity for the fear of winning 50/50 😂 because I'm unsure if I want Kinich. Raiden C1 is also not so appealing to me. What I want for sure is Nahida C2, so I might just stop pulling until she comes along, unless I have sufficient fates set asid3 for her. Then again Chevy C6 just kept lurking in the corner of my mind. Gotta be disciplined, for Nahida.... lol. Thanks for reminding me not to open that can of worms called weapon banner... lol I was half thinking of pulling for Raiden's weapon....
I began phase 2 with 282 wishes and I walk away with c4 Chevreuse(I had her before) C1 Yunjin R5 Fav lance R4 Fav bow R3 Widsith C4 Kujou Sara(didn't have her before I love her) C6 Thoma(didn't have him before) C1 Diluc C0 Raiden Shogun And 131 wishes Natlan here I come
My pulls were just as bad. I got 2 Chev cons in 50 pulls, a ton of shitty weapons and lost to Jean at 30 pity while my brother won Raiden at 15 pity and got 4 cons for Chev at the same time. My luck in this game is horrendous.
Hi Juice, when I pulled in the previous banner I also did not get the glowing pink thing but I still go Mualani (I am not guaranteed because my last 5* prior was Nilou). I don't understand the mechanic of that glowing thing really. lol.
Hoyo needs to give Kinich more voicelines. These doesn't make sense his voicelines are not that good!! I was just chilling in Natlan doing his E Move and this Ajaw keeps saying "Are you running away??" RUNNING AWAY FROM WHAT!? bruh Hoyo fix this.
I think Ajaw is funny too, but i also think his pixelated ass breaks imersion. From the moment that walking meme showed up on the trailer, and now in-game. My reactions always been, WTF Hoyo?! 🤦🏽♂️

My pulls for Kinich went horrible. I won only 1 out of 3 50/50s (got one early, like 40 pity but the others were 80+ pity) 😭. Either way, C2 Kinich is mine, and still I got 74 wishes in my pocket left for Mavuika.
One thing that is truth: UA-camrs will never learn to skip banners. Even more when they dont have enogh for everything without spending cash. I been fully skipping this patch and heck still have primos from last patch. You gota learn to hold.

The "event" apparently works completely different from what they said, basically if u lose two 50/50s in a row your next "50/50" actually becomes 75/25, and if u still lose the 75/25, the next "50/50" is literally a 100/0 and u are guaranteed to get a limited time character.
And that's what happened, u lost the 50/50 on Mualani banner, and after losing a 50/50 on a Kinich banner, your next 5* had a 75% chance to be limited character.

And Kinich (with 50% chance). 😆 Well, I didn't really want him (waiting for Xilonen and Mavuika) because he doesn't really fit into the world of Genshin imo but he is cool and now I can at least travel faster in Natlan. 😅

I’ve been planning for Engulfing Lightning during this banner, but for my C6 Yun Jin instead of my C0 Raiden. I’m at guaranteed on-banner 6 pity after Wolf’s Gravestone. I guess I’ll give Dehya the Kinich claymore if I get that instead.
Or I could risk getting Kinich instead of waiting for actual-catgirl Dehya. (I’m at 0 pity after a Mualani 50:50 win.)
If you can do the double grappling in other nations, that would be cool. He is a great contender for the wanderer in terms of exploration. But it's only applicable in Natlan. Nonetheless, I still like him.
i do think his grapple is nice in other nations tho, even if its only one

Have enough pulls for C0 Xilonen guaranteed but I don't want to lose to Chiori weapon since I already have it (but tbf if I pull a 2nd copy it'll just go on Furina since I play her on Navia team). The rest is all luck and credit card lmao
I don't know but I kinda suspect that the lesser you use someone, the more you're gonna get an extra copy for... lol. I like Chevy and she's fixated to my Raiden overload team but I haven't been using that team in like months. Both Kujo and Thoma are also bench warmers for ages, so I got a rather balanced distribution from my 40 pulls thrown in, pushing Chevy up 1 more to C5. But I stopped just at 70 pity for the fear of winning 50/50 😂 because I'm unsure if I want Kinich. Raiden C1 is also not so appealing to me. What I want for sure is Nahida C2, so I might just stop pulling until she comes along, unless I have sufficient fates set asid3 for her. Then again Chevy C6 just kept lurking in the corner of my mind. Gotta be disciplined, for Nahida.... lol.

My pulls were just as bad. I got 2 Chev cons in 50 pulls, a ton of shitty weapons and lost to Jean at 30 pity while my brother won Raiden at 15 pity and got 4 cons for Chev at the same time. My luck in this game is horrendous.

Hi Juice, when I pulled in the previous banner I also did not get the glowing pink thing but I still go Mualani (I am not guaranteed because my last 5* prior was Nilou). I don't understand the mechanic of that glowing thing really. lol.
Hoyo needs to give Kinich more voicelines. These doesn't make sense his voicelines are not that good!! I was just chilling in Natlan doing his E Move and this Ajaw keeps saying "Are you running away??" RUNNING AWAY FROM WHAT!? bruh Hoyo fix this.
I think Ajaw is funny too, but i also think his pixelated ass breaks imersion. From the moment that walking meme showed up on the trailer, and now in-game. My reactions always been, WTF Hoyo?! 🤦🏽♂️

My partner got C2 Kinich, Dehya, Diluc and Kinich's sig weapon in 250 pulls. I spent 110 pulls and got Raiden and her sig. He did better lol

My pulls for Kinich went horrible. I won only 1 out of 3 50/50s (got one early, like 40 pity but the others were 80+ pity) 😭. Either way, C2 Kinich is mine, and still I got 74 wishes in my pocket left for Mavuika.
I had 160 wishes saved. Got c1 kinich, jean, and mona BUT ONLY C3 CHEVREUSE. Oh well at least im guaranteed xilonen
