Search on UA-cam:"Andrea Cionci - Codice Ratzinger" and read in the English section or buy the book in English language "The Ratzinger Code" by Andrea Cionci. In short: due the Canon Law, n. 332.2 the 'Declaratio' by Pope Benedict XVI was not a valid abdigation. Plus, in Italy there are a lot of lawyers that with Andrea Cionci exposed the subject to the Court of the Vatican.

The retired apostolic nuncio doesn't believe that it is valid in the first place, so my guess is that he is at peace with what Pope Francis has tried to do.

I find much sympathy with Vigano. I will never forget that Vigano defended me and millions of other un jabbed people when the entire Catholic church threw us under the bus. If you support Vigano, then you agree that you were never validly confirmed, and the Eucharist you receive isn't the Eucharist because all of the priests and bishops post Vatican II weren't legitimately ordained.

He also described the ape of the Church: that it would have the appearance of religion but devoid of divine content. What every catholic should realize is the Catholic Church must go through a scriptural “type” of passion and death just as our Lord did. This also means that the church will be resurrected more glorious than ever before.

We have a President and a Pope who are derelict in their duties and both of their elections are questionable. Maybe because the same people got them in power and are telling both what to do. Catholics when Pipe Benedict passed, they stopped totally from attending Holy Eucharistic Celebration saying there's no more valid Pope. So many are scandalized by what Pope Francis has done and has contributed to Catholics being mocked and laughed at by other religious sects.

Excommunication is no joke, yet the modern Church treats it as one.
What is worse is that either the Pope thinks we are not watching or knows we are and believes himself immune to consequences.
Quite the contrary. I think it's deadly serious. From what I know of the situation (not being an insider), I think this was a fair decision.
Before the eyes of the world he is excommunicated but before the Lord he is not. May God continue blessing Bishop Vigano and may He continue consoling him. This is the time many Bishops and priests will go through that.

I think this action, among many others in the Church by this pontificate, has established that the pope on the throne at present is no friend of Christ or Tradition. A pontiff who promotes and defends the wicked and excommunicates the righteous is sending a very loud “progressive” message to the whole Church. In addition, this pope’s own soul is indeed in grave jeopardy. We did all know this was coming. Pray for the Church and this pope. For whom will the bell toll in the future? I'm tired of this drama. I went to Mass this morning, said the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a parish (newly established for First Fridays at my request), followed by Benediction and Adoration for one hour. I basically visited Heaven for two hours this morning with my Lord. We are too blessed as Catholics to despair about anything.

Why this split between NO and Trad? We are all Catholic. I've gone to one Latin Mass ever but there's hardly any in Australia and difficult to get to. I'm also a carer. I've attended NO my whole life. Beautiful and reverent Masses. Maybe it's different in USA.

We're living in the times when they punish those who are heroic, just and good, and reward those who do evil. So what else is new? Did you expect anything else from this so-called Pope. I'm not going to judge whether or not he's a pope or not. We'll leave that up to the future popes and ultimately God. But I do know that this so-called excommunication is as laughable as the excommunication of Archbishop Marcel Lefevre and the four Bishops he consecrated.

Perhaps try to introduce a discussion starting with those whom you feel may be like-minded regarding the issues. Start with very small, gradual introductions, ideas, or questions & see if they are receptive or are willing to talk further. Use gradualism aka Incrementalism in reverse; to reintroduce Sacred Tradition /Heritage.
Get people interested & learning in what they may never have been taught. A good starting point, I find, is to bring up why newer churches have different altars, different designs & focal points [re: the location & placement of the Tabernacle]. See what other's come up with & gauge what their level of knowledge is; then you'll have a good idea of where to start the conversation.
