Because I am young and didn't know any better, this was the first version of this song I ever heard, about 10 years ago when it first appeared on Chanticleer's SoundCloud. Since then, I've listened to many versions and arrangements, but this one holds a special place in my heart. The depth and warmth of the arrangement perfectly captures the essence of the music and lyrics. Only Joni's own 2000 performance of her masterwork shines brighter in my eyes. Thanks, gents.
Just heard this on a classical radio station while driving in my car. Had to Google it immediately. Of course, after I parked. So glad I was introduced to this. It will be on my Playlist going forth. Beautiful.
We need more performances with this quality of videography from Chanticleer. I think this is the edge that Voces8 has. I am only comparing in terms of popularity here on UA-cam. Please consider more projects like this one. Sending you all love from Reno.
Brian Hinman was my idol as a high school tenor-I was lucky enough to do a couple workshops with Chanticleer back then and learning from him and Casey Breves is a fond memory that I rediscovered watching this. Haven’t thought about these guys in years but so amazing to see they’re still around inspiring people 😊
So beautiful. The human voice in harmony is just a gift!

So many things I would have done...
But clouds got in my way

Matt brings it big time. So pure and lovely.
Just heard them live in San Antonio and Matt was AMAZING. Brought my wife to tears and I can't stop listening.
The clarity here is glass
brian is really one of the best to do it. 🖤🤘🏻
Oh, my heart.
Absolutely beautiful. Long, but it's OK because actually you'd like it never ended. ❤
Listening for the second time in a row with tears in my eyes.
exactly what i needed to hear today. thank you. just so heart wrenchingly beautiful.
Kudos!
Many mornings I awake with this song in my head
Wow that's got to be depressing...
I think this is the second video they're made of this song. This new one is filmed beautifully.
I didn't want it to end. Once again, the musical Midas' touch. Thank you!

Matt and Brian did so well!!! ❤❤❤
Something’s lost and something’s gained 💔
Fascinating. I saw them life and singing that great song during the concert.
Transcendent 🥲
Leaning heavily on the gravitas end of things, but very beautiful all the same.
Beautiful. Thank you 🌿
Beautiful arrangement!
Superb
Thank you for finally reposting this! It is incredible!
Muy, muy hermoso
I apologize for saying this, but just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
