    Melaque and Barra de Navidad boast rich histories that date back to pre-Columbian times when indigenous groups inhabited the region. The area gained prominence during the Spanish colonial period, particularly Barra de Navidad, which served as an important shipyard for Spanish galleons in the 16th century.       You would love this coast! ⛱️ And to be honest, I'd given up the sandals up for good. It was one of the few times I got lucky and got them back 🤣
