Ive watched this tour every week since it came out searching for tools I need. Thank you. I recomend you get the slug wrenches and or the tubular handle wrenches. It would go great with your large crowfeet. The handles are short. X480b 1-1/2" 12-Point SAE Flank Drive Heavy-Duty Offset Box Tubular Wrench or DX148 1-1/2" 12-Point SAE Flank Drive® Heavy-Duty Straight Handle Sledge Hammer Wrench

One of my parents best friends was a mechanic and electrician. He was my mentor for that type of work growing up. He taught me how to do everything and was helping out my parents at the same time because they had four kids to feed and house and just didn’t have the money for expensive repairs. Anytime something broke instead of just doing it himself he would teach me how to fix it at the same time. He was an incredibly good guy and would help anyone out without asking for anything in return.

Stop thinking of Snapon as an investment. He will spend YEARSSS parting this out to get some money back, but what will most likely happen is he'll sell it for pennies on the dollar as a package.... or the more likely scenario his daughters will give it away after he dies.

I wondered when Mike moved the blow molded case and said "that is a DP51" if it was a Daewoo. Later he mentioned working on firearms and then I knew it probably was a Daewoo.
Interesting set of tools and some very nice ones. So many that will not be used until somebody is "restoring" an antique car from the 1970's to 1990's.
Mike seems to be the kind of guy who people can go to when they are in need of help and can't afford to visit a repair shop. I know of a few people who help out like that and I have done the same myself when I could.
    Take care,
    jack

1:05:13 you are tripping out on the inspection mirror. I have one I can’t lose. I got it at a garage sale when I was probably 8 or something with my dad. I am 41 now. That thing pops up every so often around my house.
Have no clue where it is now, but give me a week or so and I will probably run across it. No clue who made it, but it is a little smaller than that one with a red back. The pusher has a lock on it that is friction held so when you let go and it starts to spring back the lock grabs the pusher and won’t let it slide more.

Bought some gun stuff from him that was back when he had left SilincerCo and before starting up dead air. Never saw his box or setup but wow heck of a collection. I thought mine was decent I was a tech before doing Snap On, and when I left Snap On I kept at least 1 of most anything I possibly thought I might use one day still have stuff in my box sealed up haven’t even opened it yet.
