To see a vet cry but in particular a Vietnam vet cry almost broke my heart. Thank you for your service doesn't begin to cover what he should receive. What a wonderful blessing you gave them.
Just when you waver in your faith in humanity, a story like this comes along. Thank you, not just for the Hollingsworth's but for me. I needed that warm fuzzy. You give me hope.
I never cry. This literally brought tears to my eyes. When you're gave him his medals. You're absolutely amazing people❤❤❤This is not just a house. This is really a true home probably my favorite episode❤❤❤ Thank you for saving this house. Thank you john for your services😊
If only more people would come together like this......I'm still trying to pull myself together as this had me sobbing. Thanks Erin, Ben and all those that helped this most deserving family. As a former care giver to my mom who was also a stroke survivor, I can only imagine how the amenities they gave to this sweet family will help Mr. John & his wife in his daily care. And Mr. John if you somehow come across this thank you Sir for your service!!!
What an incredible community effort for such a deserving couple! Such a heartwarming episode. Thank you for doing this Ben & Erin. And thank you Mr. Hollingsworth for your service.
This is the side of America we have always been. But some where along the last 20 years we have lost so much of it. Ben, Erin, the community of Laurel understand that KINDNESS MATTERS. Because in the circle of life you have to give, more than you take. Mr. John you gave to all of us. We as the THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 🇺🇸 THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. THANK YOU TO ALL OUR VETERANS MEN AND WOMEN A LIKE.
This is so beautiful! Chainsaws and casseroles. This is such a beautiful gift. You're truly serving God by serving your brothers and sisters. God bless y'all! God bless Laurel and may she always be welcoming.
A wonderful episode. Also, what a beautiful job restoring and renovating that house, building it and making it a home. This has to be one of, if not the very best, house to home make overs I have ever seen. Well done indeed.
An Absolute Beautiful Gift the community gave this family. You are a wonderful community "You Brought that Soldier Home" I Thank you Sir for your service! Welcome Home Family
It was so nice and exciting for y'all to come together to make over his home. I congratulate you all and Mr Hollingsworth for his services, more veterans should be rewarded and we see them homeless all over America.
I watch all of your videos, but this one really touched my heart. You have done wonderful things to bring Laurel to the forefront of showing the good side of Mississippi. I lived in Gulfport for many years in the 70 & 80s and I loved it, but if I had the chance to move back, I'd move to Laurel!!! Pllease keep up the good work for both the haves and the have nots.
I love you guys, from the first time I saw you, years ago, I was smitten! You ‘re showing the whole country how to live.❤❤❤❤❤You know, you are helping to healing our country, in a big way!
That man crying when they gave him his medals😶 God Bless him and his men he fought with. To those who have fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know. 🙏
This is beautiful. Such a wonderful community project. I hope someone passes this on to the wife in this family. She is always lifting her head up to see due to eye lids being fallen. There is a surgery that can be done, it is simple and lifts the eye lids. This is covered by Medicare. Her life will change visually. She will not have to lift her head to see. Personally had this done years ago. It is wonderful.
This is a beautiful story, and a beautiful renovation! The only thing that I would mention, and this is because I have a son that is in a wheelchair, it is unfortunate that they did not do a roll-in shower without a lip. Maybe there was a reason that they couldn’t do it but that shower unfortunately will be difficult for him to use. They could’ve made the shower very accessible with that lip and bars for him to be able to hold onto. But a beautiful story and a beautiful renovation as I said above❤
That stove is electric? That's cool. Cleaning gas stoves is very time consuming. I think the shower could be even with the ground, would be easier for a wheelchair. Anyway, the house looks nice, hope they're enjoying it.
Erin dear unfortunately social media people can be so cruel. In my day some one had to call you or walk up in your face and be disrespectful. These people get to hide behind their computers and go to town! Why?! The whole thing is very sad. I love your work. Your husband looks like a sexy Teddy bear.😮 I'll pray for strength for you both.
It’s wonderful & beautiful what you & your community did for this family! Your design is perfect but I think the kitchen countertops are too high for the people who will be using them.
The house turned out beautiful and I think it was for a good cause however my OCD is kicked into overdrive because the door is off-centered from the walkway astronomy crazy lol
