It was so sweet when the mom said she wanted the boys to have a nice room so they'd be excited to come home. 😭 Very thoughtful. The home is colorful and charming. My bedroom has been purple for many years, only a bit more subdued and that orange was awesome for the boys room. And what a sincere, sweet couple! So happy for them to live in that beautiful home!

The one bad idea Erin does almost every time is trap the refrigerator. And this time, the washer/dryer. It also traps the owners into that size appliance come replacement time. Otherwise, it's thrilling to see them offer original designs for each house, preserving much of the character, and not being a boring copy-cat of the latest design fad. I definitely would rearrange the front porch furniture to allow access from the bedroom.
It is a lovely home. I love saturated colours. The one thing I don't get is people wanting kitchen islands but hating galley kitchens. Functionally they are the same, but the galley has more storage
At least Erin stepped away from her "neutrals", but the three bed house would have suited them better. If they have another child, they are already out of space, and the two existing children would have had their own bedroom.
I can’t believe they covered two windows for the kitchen and didn’t put a window over the sink. No bueno for me. I know the other wall has windows but I couldn’t be closed in over that sink.

It seems to be a small house but using those bright colours really opened it up. I love everything about it!

I liked the dining room - but I hated the extreme colors in the living room, boys' room and bedroom. Maybe those colors - 20 shades lighter.
The orange is boys room will glare in the sun. The kitchen appliances look like cheap metal not the fingerprint resistant .
these children will grow and another bedroom would of made more sense for long term...
