Negan saying he killed Rick's friend in the first place is similar to when Rick thought about taking Alexandria not long after they arrived and asked them how many of them he would have to kill to save them. Rick and Negan have a lot in common, but Rick never went as dark as Negan did.
Negan’s philosophy is kind of like Rick’s attitude upon arriving at Alexandria Rick almost crossed the line there He was going to take that place and talked about how he wasn’t sure how many of them he had to kill to keep them all alive Negan thinks the Apocalypse calls for an iron fist He thinks by making an example of one or a few he’s keeping most of them in line and safe It’s not right but you can see how some people would go down that road.
It’s like Negan said in the Season Finale of Season 7 If I had a kid Rick I would want him to be just like your kid which makes this so much harder because he really respected Carl and treated him more like an adult than a kid he even said in this episode that Carl was built for this shit and that’s why he’s so upset that he’s dead which makes me like his character a little bit.
This is another episode where stages are being set With Simon It’s pretty clear where he is headed in after what he did Poor Jadis though I feel like she not necessarily played both sides but she mainly tried to sit things out and now she’s alone And the worst part is Rick was finally even fed up with her and left her.
Yeah I remember joining the uproar bout what I still feel like was a bad decision to kill "him" off, the executive director himself said that it was necessary for how this season ends. But my doubts were GONE halfway through season 9, excited to see y'all get into it 😁
The garbage people chose their own fate starting off by betraying Rick in the first place. When they handed over their guns, they officially signed their death warrant.
Rip Carl and Gavin, Gavin wasn’t as bad like Negan, Simon, Gary and Jared are, in season 8 episode 1 Gavin was trying to calm things down between Negan and Rick
Also from this episode you can kinda see that whatever Negan does he genuinely believes in his system and how that he is saving people so it is not some bullshit like the Governor he really thinks this is the way and that he is not evil that in this world he must kill some people so that others fall in line for the greater good of everyone now ofc not saying that is good but just saying this episode tells a lot about Negan I do wonder if Negan was our character from start would be see his system as system that has to be there because he also maybe had encounters with groups who wanted to kill them and saw lot of bad people and decided to change things the way Rick started good naive then almost got eaten killed lost wife best old friend and so on would be see Rick as someone who killed a bunch of his people while Negan took only 2 Maybe 1 If Daryl didn’t act who would be a bad guy for us if we watched Negan as main character He is really complex character that is why many like him there is so much to think in a way what if or compared to what Rick did how justified are Negan’s anyway we also know that Negan is an intelligent guy he knows how to break people so he knows how to read people but he is not really a liar like Governor he liked Carl and he truly believes that he is a good guy here.
This episode I really throughly enjoyed But Rick really disappointed me Every opportunity he gets to address Carl’s wishes for the future he neglects them When he finds out Carl wrote a letter to Negan he immediately goes to I need to talk to Jadis Yes he has a point that the Saviors were shooting at them so their best bet is to team up with Rick once and for all but it is a defence mechanism to not even think about Carl right now and continue on with the mission at hand Then he finally gets the time to read his letter and instead reads Negan’s Then calls Negan up and says I’m gonna kill you TOTALLY disregarding Carl’s wishes Like Negan is the sane one in that final scene (which was amazing) Negan feels genuinely sad that Carl is gone and it looks like he’s about to cry yet here’s Rick walking aimlessly in an open field saying the only future is one where Negan is dead I get it he just lost his son Anyone would be acting like that It’s part of the grieving process but it just upset me how completely disregarded what Carl wanted in that moment and Like why even bother calling Negan to tell him Carl wants peace if you are just gonna tell him that you’re gonna kill him.
About the Patreon comment some people are just still big mad and talking out their ass with no real evidence. Rewatching it they had been planning this the whole season and in advance was it the best writing choice that’s debatable a lot of people are t a fan of it but you cope with it just as with every other death in the show because it is t a nice show.
No,just no,the whole case surrounding his death was amc being greedy af and not wanting to pay him more so they made the executive decition to force gimple in to writing him off before he turned 18,just after he had recently bought a house in georgia to facilitate shootingssomething they *knew* and still decided to not tell him anything up until it was time to shoot the episodes, even looking at the writting and the plot it didnt make sense at all,it was a complete 180 on his character, going from "yeah lets kill Negan" to "uwu please daddy forgive them all and lets be a happy family" literally from one day to another in-universe and one episode to the next out-universe,not only that,he was barely in any episode of the first half of season 8,they had plans but the execs screwed their plans so they had to juggle with the sudden change and try to salvage whatever they could and try to turn it in to something decent, worst thing even to this day with all the evidence and comments made by Chandler, his dad,and amc having a reputation of being greedy mother fuckers there is still people defending them or denying what actually happened.
I was going to tell you that season 8 of the walking dead obviously the death of Carl which is a great tragedy and it's because it affects Negan and yes it's Rick's fault if Carl died Negan is totally right everywhere or Rick is going on, it's shit, not only has he failed as a father, it's the mess of another Trevor who is losing his temper, the mess in season 8, I'm telling you Carl went to join his mother RIP
they fired him, i think he demanded an insane amount of money and they like you know what fired, they already strayed so far away from the comic that it didnt matter lol at 1st they played it off like he wanted togo to school, but that was a weak cover...
Michonne was so determined to put out the fire because it was a memory of Carl She said he used to sit on the roof.
They were trying to blow out that last fire because Michonne said that Carl used to sit on it like it was his little place.
So hyped y’all are almost to season 9.
Negan saying he killed Rick's friend in the first place is similar to when Rick thought about taking Alexandria not long after they arrived and asked them how many of them he would have to kill to save them. Rick and Negan have a lot in common, but Rick never went as dark as Negan did.
Negan really does appreciate Carl when he was gonna kill him he said himself it was really hard for him to do it.
Killling carl was the absolute worst decision
best**
@@Rknowles813nope
The gazebo was Carl’s safe space He’d sit there and read comics and stuff that’s why Rick and Michonne tried to put the fire out.
I think Rick is just at war with himself He’s not sure if he hates Negan more than he loves Carl and is caught between those conflicting emotions.
Negan’s philosophy is kind of like Rick’s attitude upon arriving at Alexandria Rick almost crossed the line there He was going to take that place and talked about how he wasn’t sure how many of them he had to kill to keep them all alive Negan thinks the Apocalypse calls for an iron fist He thinks by making an example of one or a few he’s keeping most of them in line and safe It’s not right but you can see how some people would go down that road.

you can see the applesauce jadis has, has the crm logo on it. proving jadis has been working with them for a while
In season 7 when they take Rick "up up" a helipad can be seen in the back
You can see even before this episode that Carl brought out the little bit of humanity in Negan that he had left.
this is the best acting we get from Jadis in the entirety of this show and spinoffs
6 more episodes for the major finale twist, y’all better be prepared for it
Yeah I remember joining the uproar bout what I still feel like was a bad decision to kill "him" off, the executive director himself said that it was necessary for how this season ends. But my doubts were GONE halfway through season 9, excited to see y'all get into it 😁
Yeah. They pretty much had to do it because of their plans for next season.
Jadis was then known as Bonecrusher

They lost 1/3 of their audience when they killed off Carl. They lost another 1/3 when Lincoln left the show as well.
you’re spoiling the show
Guys Steven Oog Who Is Simon Is The Voice Actor Of Trevor From GTA 5
Damn y’all
Are in for a treat!! Hahahaha
NEGAN VS. SIMON. I’m ready for it
@@Getstr8cash yes!!!!! I love it honestly
season 9 and 10 are my favorite! Even though Carl is gone the show is still great
Simon is a better Negan than Negan.

There is remorse of course
There is a reason why Carl had to die you just got to wait till the end of the season
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of The Walking Dead!!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Maybe after Walking Dead, watch the other AMC show, Breaking Bad, if you haven't already, it's a reaction phenomenon
