Decided to recently treat myself to my first new driver in years and my first real fitting ever for my 58th birthday. Went in thinking paradym x or g430 max. Forgiving with consistency. I have a fairly slow swing speed nowadays. Titleist never crossed my mind. Walked out with the Tsr2 with a custom shaft fit for me and nothing else was even close to it. Every shot straight down the middle with either a slight fade or a slight draw. No snap hooks thank goodness which is my bad shot. 5 rounds with it so far and ive never hit the driver better or more consistent. I think ive probably bought my last driver. I can't see ever finding better than this Tsr2 10.0 degree.
Yeah it’s a belter club they’ve made there my man! Glad you are seeing good results from it 👍
Absolutely fantastic 👏 just wish I had the money to get a whole bag fitting nothing wrong with that fade shots 👍👍
It’s worth every penny this place dude and nicks knowledge
The results are actually class, so In depth so interesting just shows the difference being fitted does
Madness ain’t it
Class setup
George is over the the moon
Smiles all the way
As always great video boys.
Managed to get some smiles at the end haha
Precision Golf in Surrey is a class fitting experience, unbelievable knowledge and top tech to fit the right clubs.
Also, avoid American Golf fittings, they are free for a reason!
Yeah we’ve heard some good things about that place
They are tragic 😂
A good fitting is also a lesson (if the Fitter spots an obvious swing issue as George has with his club path so massively over the top with an open club face). Basically, George has been given a massive Band-aid to mask his swing faults
Three lessons with a decent swing Coach would correct his swing path, face angle & attack angle and then George would be hitting proper BOMBS and make the most of his impressive clubhead speed 👍👍
Yeah he’s a work in progress bro
@@thegolfsupply it would be interesting to watch him have a series of lessons to correct his swing path issues
Completely agree 👍🏾 I was gonna write the same comment. A good fitting should come with abit of a lesson if needed. Hopefully George can adjust his swing path and maximise the speed he has and go back for fitting round number 2. Good video boys 👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾
@@S.forbes thanks for your comment👍👍
I would love to see if George has had any lessons to get his swing path & face & attack angle aligned. It would be so easy to get his swing sorted out and his distance gains would be significant
Most of us don’t have the time to work on swing issues, knowing a good fitter can cover up a bad swing like this amazing as you can just take your current swing and blast it 30yds farther 👌
As a titleist fan, I really wish could have good results with the drivers, especially new tsr series…Been using from 915 D3, tried tsi2, tsr2… the result were not the best for me.. fades, slices..less distance…frustrating …
one of the most important club that is not a titleist in my bag is the driver… PING G425 Max…straight like arrow…
I game the same 👀
@@thegolfsupply: Noted mate… too bad rite…
I would work on the swing before I would purchase a new driver...once the swing is dialed in, the head/shaft may need to change. Why would the fitter recommend a new club with current high spin and an out to in path.
Can always come back and get it tweaked dude. Still good to get fit to your current swing
@@thegolfsupply I understand, but that does cost money and I guess maybe you don't want to go through a swing change so it does make sense to have clubs that are more dialed in and give you better results or at least more confidence with them.
@@thegolfsupply: Totally agree… every swing is specific… and that’s all fitting about… fixing swing we could just hire coach, which I believe as a more painful process for changing swing… keep your video coming man!
Good fitting, but for this guy, lessons would be the answer first. If he corrects that path, all of a sudden an 8 degree driver could be redundant.
Work with what ya got for now though hey
@@thegolfsupply Well I don't know. All he needed was an 8 degree driver, any generic one would do until that swing was sorted.
If he just cast that swing path out, which could be corrected so quickly in some good sessions with a proper pro, that guy would easily average 285-290 carry with a draw. I’m not against the fade; I have a friend who is an absolute bomber and plays the most beautiful fades and he is consistently around 350 yds off the tee.
But, you need a good club fitter. I went to a Taylormade fitter when I was only a year into the game and that guy belittled me to the point I walked and told him to f**k off. I was young, new the game and could have really benefited from a professionals help. My problem was cupping the left wrist and letting my right elbow flare too far away from my core. Subsequently, I ended up with very high spin, low distance, and heavy right to left shots. The fitter should have fixed the clubs to fit my game or offered to hold off until I had a golf pro work those kinks out of my golf swing and then come back and get fitted for a better swing. Regardless, it should have been my choice because I was paying for the fitting.
