  • New 2022 Titleist TSR Driver ... THE BEST YET!? When we see new drivers we always think they could be the best driver for us… the best driver of 2022? The longest driver of 2022? The most forgiving driver of 2022? In this video I review the brand new a Titleist TSR driver… in this case the Titleist TSR3 driver fitted in my specs… also coming is a new Titleist TSR4 driver, Titleist TSR2 driver and in the spring we will see a new Titleist TSR1 driver for higher handicap golfers… let’s do it… and let’s do it now!

    Everything James has said is true....I went for a driver fitting yesterday....tried multiple shaft's and heads out and this driver ended up being the one for me....the numbers were staggering....my current driver which is very old was averaging carry of 234 yards into wind at 5 degrees temperature,3700rpm of spin and a dispersion of 37 yards and an average club head speed of 104 mph.
    However this thing took my average carry upto 256 yards into wind at 5 degrees temperature,spin rate down to 2100rpm, dispersion of only 15 yards and an average club head speed of 109mph....it's unbelievable and looks and sounds amazing.... needless to say I've purchased this "weapon" I can't wait to pick it up and get using it on the course....⛳🔥

    Having the TSI3 fitted in the bag, at the Team Titleist Invitational in Germany I had a quick Fitting on the new TSR models. Now I am heavily thinking about the TSR 2with the new HRZDUS shaft. Already contacted my fitter for an extended session with the TSR2, TSR3 driver and the TSR2+ Fairway as an alternativ. But the results with the TSR 2 have been amazing. Nearly no WE dispersion and minimal NS dispersion. Still can't believe it.

    Titleist imo is the most timeless, consistent and playable clubs. Had the 910D3 and 915D2 drivers and fairways and they were all just so consistent. Same as the AP irons, Vokeys…it’s funny I’ve changed now and only have a Scotty(Titleist product) in the bag but my gamers have more top end potential and other features but I sometimes long for the Titleist products back because if you hit 2 more fairways but average 5 yards less are you further ahead? Probably but that darn ego wants the max performer doesn’t it…

    I must admit it sounds great, and you seemed to hit it a little more consistently than other drivers of late. However, ever year it's always "the fastest, the best, the longest.........." from every manufacturer. The marketing is so stale at this point for such minimal gains for the average golfer over the past 3 or 4 models normally, for me there's no draw to even try it apart from amusement value.

    I would make a fair bet that the new TSR, the TSI and the original TS won’t be much more than a yard apart in real terms. Don’t get me wrong, even just from the video it is a gorgeous looking bit of kit, but already one tester has admitted there is not an ounce of difference from the older models. Have the manufacturers reached that glass ceiling in performance ? And, great review and amazingly consistent shots, respect.

    • @paulwags662
      @paulwags662 2 роки тому

      Sadly you would lose that bet. The tsi and tsr are getting higher ball speeds which equates to more distance. If I were playing a TSI I wouldn't switch but TS to TSR you should see a difference if you have even a remotely competent swing.

      I bought the stealth+ , I tried using it for about 2 months. It didnt work well for me at all. However ive seen that stealth driver used with scratch golfers at my local course's, & also the Pro's on tv of course it seems to work amazing for really good golfers. It just not a great driver for amauter golfers of any low to high handicap. Now of course it might work fine for some in that skill level range. Just overall it seems to be a Driver made for the better players. I took my stealth back after 2 months, & exchanged it for Rogue ST Max. The ST Max is an amazing driver, an extremely forgiving. Thats my experience anyways with the stealth. It might be alittle bit of a gimmick, especially since you can order a custom one, with different colored carbon face's. Than just the red flagship model, now also. Its just seems to be a great driver for the pro's & scratch golfers for what ive seen an experienced. Take care brother!
