I love this artist right away since I discovered "Marz" on the film "Weekend". I have his two albums. It´s the most interesting music of the past four years.
So tremendously potent and captivating, this fellow, this plain, yet verrry sexy fellow, offering nothing but his ragged soul and his phenomenal musical talent. John Grant is the best thing I've seen and heard in a long, cynical time listening to and making music. I can't describe my...gratitude in discovering this wonderful artist. :)

Have you heard Cate Le Bon? She sang with John Grant at Green Man in 2018 and he thinks she is the greatest female vocalist around. Together they are mind blowing. check it out.

Joni Mitchell mode for the album "Blue", in Grant's case is the modus operandi of his entire career!
