How things have changed in 20 years.. I went to see Ray LaMontangne last year and I swore I would never go to a live show again. Too many people with smartphones on their phones, people talking during the performance, etc. It was horrible. Ray is very good music, Gilmour is the Greatest for me. I just know now the audience would ruin it for me. Thanks for posting this it was wonderful.
A truly gifted man. You know he spent half his life in recording studios. This is artistic output and dedication. I hope young artists hold Gilmour as a gold standard for just staying sharp and innovative their whole lives.
problem is, none of them have his talent. Their sharpness and innovation are always going to go wanting in comparison. But I agree, it's important to stay true to your art.
@Brian Jacob You are right. Even Gilmour himself supports new talent. Jeff Lynn is another talent like that. Neil Diamond gave Elton John his big break and it made him happy.
MERCI
There are no words to describe his abilities we are all so lucky to have been able to listen to his talent! It happened during our lifetime for a reason because we can appreciate the experience wow is all that can be said wow!!
Love his music and his improvisations that connect his known work, it all transitions so spiritually that it is very encapsulating and has a draw like none other. One of my inspirations to say the least.
The silky smooth vocal range, the complete mastery of his guitars, and let's not overlook the always poignant lyrics perfectly pressed. One of the greatest.
Listening to David..... my heart melts with every song! Oh my God, thank you for blessing us with David and his music! My kitty is laying next to me, soothed by every song! David bring me peace like no other.
What's cool is you can progressively hear more and more people recognise which song he's performing. Just a smattering of applause in the first minute, but when he hits that chord at 2:06 that's when it clicks for most of the audience.
Shine On You Crazy Diamond is a phenomenal song. Unfortunately, it’s about Syd Barrett, and how he took too much acid one weekend and fried his brain. Have to take the bad with the good, I guess.

Thank you for all these Angels that you have gathered David! I must have listened to this concert more than two hundred times, and it is still the same emotion of grace that I receive there; thank you Angels… God bless you all
I would have to say the same. For every song that he sings, or Pink Floyd did, it is pictures from all the way back to my childhood forward flashing through my memories, with the lyrics and music spurring coinciding pictures. ❤️
It touched me through the heart to the bones. It made my mood cry gently and smile as if I was lost the way home and found myself in a utopia. They are all crazy diamonds in a world with a poisoned sense of sanity. I can't express my gratitude for them expect with the love they developed in my core towards their gentle existence. ❤️
I love everything this man does, he is like the Nostradamus to every emotion we feel in our own lives but puts into strums, and tingling strings to make us feel it. And maybe words are better left unsaid but rather enjoyed
Oh THANK YOU! I really needed this. I already feel better. I wouldn't get anything done if I were married to David Gilmour. Everytime he picked up his guitar I'd be sitting down to listen.

I wish ppl would listen to the music - talking during songs drives me bonkers! It's also rude to the artist and other gig goers.

Great music ❤ thank you Mr. David Gilmore ❤😊
Thank you your music allows me to stay in the moment
A truly gifted man. You know he spent half his life in recording studios. This is artistic output and dedication. I hope young artists hold Gilmour as a gold standard for just staying sharp and innovative their whole lives.
problem is, none of them have his talent. Their sharpness and innovation are always going to go wanting in comparison. But I agree, it's important to stay true to your art.
@Brian Jacob You are right. Even Gilmour himself supports new talent. Jeff Lynn is another talent like that. Neil Diamond gave Elton John his big break and it made him happy.
For music and shows like this is one of the reasons I still alive...Thank you Mr Gilmour !!! 💓👏👏👏
MERCI
Adore this version. It is so pure, real and real with all imperfections inside 😍
Sempre meraviglioso da guardare e ascoltare!
This is one of my favorite shows of David Gilmour. Thanks for sharing
Thanks David. In a world full of musical rubbish you remind us of what real music and genius sounds like. Love you man.

What does David sing before _"I'll be joining you there"_ at 59:37?
Just marvelously maturing
@@TonyEnglandUK Pile on many more layers and I'll be joining you there.
David knew exactly how to touch the soul with his guitar. 😢😢😢😢😢
He still does, inshallah. Listen to his new album!
Great! David is great in any performance. Every time I listen to him, I never stop admiring and enjoying him. Many thanks to him!

love your music sir.Thank you David Gilmour.
The opening with Shine on you crazy diamond, was epic. Truly an amazing performance.
People were so mesmerized they kept applauding.
I listen and play almost exclusively classical music . This is The Classic of out times. It does not get better. That's all about it. Living legend
Hello George ,
how're you doing,
Your comment caught my attention and that is why I am reaching out to you.
Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you!❤️
George, look below-!
@bizzirker that isn’t the real David Gilmour. Hacker. Tries to get you to engage and go to PM and then scam you.
Really enjoying this concert. Drawing from so many albums. 👍
There will never be talent like this is todays musicians . Nothing compares to our music from the 70's 80's some of the early 90's .
80s were largely horrible

I must say, algorithms are pretty great 👍 I watched a Gilmore video, now I'm getting so many great things of his I would never know of. I'm grateful UA-cam.
Like this unusual performance.
Reintroduced to David Gilmore.
I have a lot of catching up to do with this neglected wonderful musician.
Thank you mate - it's a real pleasure. 🙏 🕉
This is pure sweet heaven to my ears; the orchestral accompaniment is like magic with David's voice and acoustic melodies!! Can't thank you enough HD Pink for putting this up here for all to enjoy - peace!
The strength of a song is how well it carries on just acoustic guitar
Im mad
I feel ad though im insane. Noone to share my insanity to share with , ha ha ha!

I don't need anything else... this is beyond beauty. Love David's performance. Love this man forever. 💋❤️
Total respect ✊ and class all in one! Shine on my crazy diamond 💎 be safe 💜♾😇❤️🙏✨
Thank you for all these Angels that you have gathered David! I must have listened to this concert more than two hundred times, and it is still the same emotion of grace that I receive there; thank you Angels… God bless you all
It is a musical value that we need to preserve.
This is timeless music, Pink Floyd is the soundtrack of my life.
Mine too..
💔
My mother grew to love Pink Floyd in her 90s. So, I played it at her funeral…
I would have to say the same. For every song that he sings, or Pink Floyd did, it is pictures from all the way back to my childhood forward flashing through my memories, with the lyrics and music spurring coinciding pictures. ❤️

I can honestly say I'm proud to be named David because of this epic icon. Thank you for posting this video!
Feeling privileged to be alive during David Gilmour's lifetime
It touched me through the heart to the bones. It made my mood cry gently and smile as if I was lost the way home and found myself in a utopia. They are all crazy diamonds in a world with a poisoned sense of sanity. I can't express my gratitude for them expect with the love they developed in my core towards their gentle existence. ❤️

Love to hear David play the guitar what an awesome ride he has had and still going bless your heart and bless your family plays MAGIC on that 🎸💕💕💕💕💕
@saintfarhad8064 So well said!❤️Thank you for that!💖
Good evening what a wonderful artist 🥞🔥🔥🔥🎸🎸🎸❤
I love everything this man does, he is like the Nostradamus to every emotion we feel in our own lives but puts into strums, and tingling strings to make us feel it. And maybe words are better left unsaid but rather enjoyed

Oh THANK YOU! I really needed this. I already feel better. I wouldn't get anything done if I were married to David Gilmour. Everytime he picked up his guitar I'd be sitting down to listen.
😆
This is so heavenly beautiful. Thank you God for giving David Gilmour his talent and for sharing it with the entire world.
My god.. how have I missed this Such a master piece..
This is my absolute FAVE!!!!! I have this on DVD and can listen to it all day.
