Yes, sometimes it happens to me that when I pull it out I turn it on, something was needed to pull it out parallel without forcing it in a single final point, but taking it from the center. Thank you.
I just discovered another DJI asset that might help removing the camera from the case less intrusive. I was practicing your little tip while watching the video, I have the DJI lanyard attached to my P3 and I noticed that pulling gently on the lanyard while extracting the camera it seemed to slide out with even less resistance.
Thanks for watching and for sharing your technique. Interesting. Hopefully those who use a lanyard on their Pocket 3 can benefit from this tip. Have an awesome day.
I’ve tried always including your suggestion, doesn’t make one bit of difference. Pressure marks are still there. Anyway thank you for your suggestion 👍🏻
Scotty makes stuff has the best case for this. It stays on th op3. It has a lid for when not using it. It also has everything the dji case has, plus you can mount a phone to it, a light and microphone too. Its the best rig for op3 out right now. Like $35.
Ok, I'm writing this first and if someone later says they stole the idea from me :) Since the screen is held by a magnet and a strong one at that (neodymium?), such a magnet may become demagnetized by high temperature (if you put any magnet in the oven). During long recording, the camera heats up and maybe this temperature is enough to weaken the effect of the magnet?
what I do is turn it around the other way... with the gimbal toward me... and just at the point where the neck of the gimbal starts i pull the sides of the case apart with my two thumbs. then while doing that... i lift up the handle with my two pointing fingers. then it's "friction free" removal...... ain't no way I'm having this expensive action/vlog camera break on my watch. my process takes the same amount of time. 1.5 seconds.
Thanks for your imput and sharing your technique. I totally agree with the expensive part. Its great to know people are trying. Hope you have an awesome weekend.
I pick up my pocket 3 today, so I'll watch for marking. I wonder if anyone has removed those two bumps with a small grinder (Dremal tool) and had any luck.
I thought the same about smoothing those bunps and it was my next mission. But honestly after adding the silicone skin and using the gimbal and screen protector. It's like having some sort of freedom lol. I understand we lose the ability to use two magnetic areas for the wide angle lens and black mist on the case but honestly i carry them separately and have enjoyed the experience overall. I will keep that idea in mind just figuring out a way where it would look good too lol. Thanks for the comment and hope you have a great day.
@@StorytoWrite i decided to send it back for a full refund. But today I was on a trip and wanted to use a camera. I put a small piece of photo paper between the screen and camera . It works as a brake and gives me a chance to rotate a screen and keep it in a normal position. But it is just a temporary solution.
@@MrSzmulik At least you are getting a full refund. So that is good. Hopefully in the next Pocket DJI considers altering the design a bit on the device and case. Because Its an awesome product.
Informative video but a bit long. Also, just say display instead of "LCD". Especially since it's not an LCD display, it's an OLED display. One less syllable and more accurate.
Greetings. Yes I totally agree and understand your concerns. Its expensive so we have to be careful when rotating that screen. Thank you for comment. Have a great day.
I agree reason why i instead went with a gimbal/screen protector and silcone skin. Here is the link if interested ua-cam.com/video/LavXtE1t_QY/v-deo.html
it's old news yes, but there's no video showing a technique for damage free removal. this is the first one. ... although my technique is far better Imo, wrote it up in another comment. you should find it easy. @RubberontheroadIndonesia
Glad to meet you, because that's how I've been using it too. I like someone cares their belongings!

I am just happy that someone shares tips like this and appreciate it. 60 seconds ....Dude! DIY
My tip is to just squeeze down on the DJI logo and the underside of the case and it will just See-saw out. Best Dave
Thank you for sharing your tip. Have a great weekend.
Thats how i have been doing it. No friction and just lifts out .

I did not use a case, just keeped camera on tripod. And have problem with screen rotation. It jus start when i rotated screen to turn on camera
Thank you for sharing. DJI has to be aware of the screen's delicate issue. Keep us updated if you resolve the problem. Hope you have a great day.
