  • In todays’ episode; Robby Robinson, or “The Black Prince” takes you through his Arm Training Routine that helped him build the most amazing Arms in all of bodybuilding during the “Golden Era”.
    As Robby was photographed during his arm workout at the world famous Gold’s Gym in Santa Monica, California; he describes in detail the exact exercises, sets and reps; along with his exercise and training philosophy that helped him pack the mass and peaks onto his legendary biceps.

    Robbie is one of the best of all time! Bodybuilding is about health and longevity
    He is now a old guy and still ripped and in beautiful shape! Big man ratings for golden era bodybuilding when they looked beautiful ripped healthy and could sprint and do chins etc now they could die jogging for the bus!

      Sal I have about 150 in my collection. I kept all my magazines from the 80s. Flex MF, MTI, then managed to collect muscle builder etc. they really were my super hero “comics” growing up. What your doing is so appreciated. Thank you.

      Yes, mine too brother Joseph. He’s still alive and kicking and he looks great. What great peaks in his biceps that he had, you can tell who Robbie was just by looking at a shot of his biceps only you would know it was Robbie, what a champ!, Peace, Sal 💪🏻

Yes, when I was a youngster I used to ride my bike to Venice Beach and spot Arnold, Roger Callard, Dennis Tinerino and then ride over to Gold's on Pacific and look through the windows and see Ken Waller, Denny Gable etc. Awesome times for sure!     I don't know how much racism may have played back in his day, but he certainly had an Olympia-worthy physique. Back then, size took a back seat to symmetry, proportion, and aesthetics. Unfortunately for Robby, his best Olympia years were also Frank Zanes and nobody was more aesthetic, proportionate, and symmetrical than Frank. There are two things that I do think may have hurt Robby. He was short I think only 5'7 and he had that strange gap in his abs. Boyer Coe was another that certainly had what it took but he too was short and he had weak abs.

    I don't think I know body builder Robby Robinson has the best peak of all body builders him and Albert backles old school baby my main man Robby Robinson always inspired me in the old70s muscle builder and power him and Albert backles has and always will has the best arms and peak and there whole physic Robby Robinson and Albert backles you 2dudes off the hook awesome

    Lookin more closely, the exercise selection is similar to Mike Mentzer's routine. Just sets and training style changes (intensity vs volume)

    Wee need to get back to Robbie Mentzer Arnold’s steroid use size etc they looked much better and healthier they wasn’t as much deaths then compared to when the mass monsters started
