Mahalo Nui Loa for your order! I really appreciate it. I actually ran out of flat out and had it on order when assembling this ebike. I’ll be adding it in this weekend now that the new bottle I bought came in. We are trying to see if we can visit family in Hawaii in mid January. Hopefully we can make it happen when airfare prices are low. If I can shoot a video while there, I should be able to make the trip a tax write off!

How water resistant? Could this be ridden on the rain if you were caught out?

I recently changed the tires out on this Luckeep X-1 and that was easier than some mountain bikes I've worked on... plug and play action on the controller to t he rear wheel is really nice for changing out the rear tire and did it all on my own missing a leg and was so easy shocked me... LOL! Another aspect of this bike I really like... next is increasing range on it... battery is expensive at four hundred dollars but next thing I'll get... the Samsung battery... to have an extra...my bike has a Samsung battery in it. Any way love it... wish you the best and all those that ride these machines.

So you need the key fob to turn on the bike even if it's unlocked. That's one more thing to carry in the pocket.

I have put 436 miles on my luck. Keep X one and my only complaint is the tires don’t last as long as I wished. I’ll buy some better tires as soon as these completely wear out but they are pretty worn On the rear tire for 436 miles so far. The machine itself is excellent.

Using BikeWise Pro I've got it really tuned with the tire circumference or diameter and radius... for the Bafang motor. When the tires wear down I can reprogram it for the best efficiency for the Bafang motor and BikeWise goes into the decimals which is really cool for tweaking the application and controller for the motor in the rear hub. I also ordered a new seat with ball inserted springs to make up for the lack of a rear shock absorber and the new seat is designed to take horizontal as well as vertical vibration issues and is really nice. The seat has gel and memory foam so will be interesting to see how it works. I have pannier bags on the bag that are huge on mine in a blue camouflage that goes with the bike color well. Also have the same pattern bags on the front bar for carrying things smaller like tools and sunglasses and such. I have a cooler pannier bag on the bars for carrying cold things to drink or food, etc. I have really modified mine with mirrors I love and more, and changed the tires and I have nearly six hundred miles on it now... wondering how far the Samsung battery will go with this machine and how long the motor will last and pushing it as a commuter machine and really love it. I wanted the bag on the front bars as well to weight it down some with tools and heavier drinks and such to keep from popping wheelies on hills because this machine has a lot of torque in the Bafang motor and actually is a good thing when moving out of people's way but a bit touchy at stop signs on an incline of more than 35 degrees in angle... makes me laugh some times when my front end is light and it pops a wheelie and I don't mean to do it but oh well... it is a very nice machine. Any way will let you know how the new seat works out... love the machine, the Luckeep X-1 is a very nice bike for the price... wish you a good February and thanks for the review you have done. Later...

Can you add more PAS levels in the APP? like 7 or 9?
Do you always need the key fob to turn on the bike?
Can you adjust power % for each PAS level in the app? example I want 20% in PAS 1 etc...
Does throttle work in PAS 0?

Cruise control on the Luckeep X-1 as I have used it can be dangerous at times if you forget you have it on... I knocked a mirror off because all of a sudden it will take over and so I don't use that option as much any more... but I did order new tires that are Universal and much better for my Luckeep X-1 and my highest speed recorded on it is 36 MPH and my average recorded on the bike is 24 MPH and I have five hundred miles on it and use it a lot. I love it... but if using cruise control be careful... it accelerates the bike automatically when taking off from a standstill and barely moving faster than the throttle on my machine and caught me off guard and knocked my right mirror off... I use Meachow mirrors that are easily adjustable but had to buy another because parts got lost when I knocked one off. On hills at stop signs facing up it likes to pop wheelies and I don't mind but a guy in Canada that builds cell phone towers that uses this Luckeep put a backpack with weight over the front handlebars to keep it from popping wheelies for all the gear he hauls into remote places with the Luckeep X-1 he uses to go into sites he builds towers and he loves it. I love mine... a very nice machine... but be careful if use the cruise control... one of my tips... wish you t he best and have a beautiful 2024...
