Instead of putting the wiper arms on, I used a piece of tape with arrows on it representing the wiper arms just in case it is out of phase. I missed by 2 notches but corrected the motor to linkage connections and all was finally wonderful, without smacking the wipers or blades on any body parts.

10-1-21 For reasons unknown, the audio track of this video is next to zero, today. It can just barely be heard. The ads associated with it, play fine though. Ad volume is normal. The audio on other YT videos is normal. Happens both with Chrome and Firefox, using Windows 10. Thought you should know...

It did fit on my Jetta MK4, I am sure it will fit....hope this is helpful....Highly recommend to replace motor as well, I got one on Amazon, brand SHOWSEN, works perfect with almost no noise at all...
Do you need to calibrate if new linkage has a motor already attached? Or is it a case of old one off and new one straight on? Cheers
What fuse is for super functionality?
So I did this yesterday and after the install, tested the wipers and the assembly was slamming at the beginning of every cycle. Extremely loud and could be felt while sitting in the car. Eventually the wipers stopped moving and I found that the wiper motor but that attaches to the output shaft of the motor had unthreaded itself and had came off. What did I do wrong?
I think you should ,,calibrate,, first, like shown on this video, BEFORE putting wiper arms, also make sure that the linkage is like a straight line when attaching a motor...
@@otarsulava everything was solid with alignment. For some reason the nut kept wanting to undo itself. I sold the car though. Thank the lord

Guys, can you work on the audio volume? I can barely hear it even with my phone to my ear. Kinda makes it impossible to see the video. The same thing on the adjustment video.
pro tip: you can watch series on kaldroStream. I've been using them for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
