To me nothing can match Christmas in the Philippines, how spectacular it is there in ILOILO, magnificent 🎅🤶🧑🎄
Thank you sir, love you
Not because I'm Filipino but I've traveled abroad too. Christmas in the Philippines is fun and really celebrated in the true sense of the word. The decorations are over the top.
Mabuhay Filipino! from California, USA
Mabuhay & bravo Philippines my origin country that always love
@@marissamelanio3944😊
It is thru your eyes that we get to see the different parts of the Philippines that we don’t get to see especially on Christmas time and you also help ease our homesickness for those living in another country. I’m in the US right now and I’m so jealous you get to experience this for yourself. Truly Christmas in the Philippines is like no other. I appreciate what you do. Thanks a bunch. I subscribed.
Thank you so much for the kind words and thanks for subscribing
Awesome video! Enjoyed it very much. Nobody does Christmas better than the Philippines. And that was just one city. Imagine that celebration in rest of the country all around the same time. What an experience. It's been years of me. Miss it. I shall return !
randomly I just saw your videos and I decided to book a flight and visit iloilo city last Dec. 1, didn't expect to meet you at Muelle...you are right Iloilo City is beautiful and very welcoming, I went there alone and just after an hour I already have a lot of new friends
So glad you experienced what we experience living here! Thank you
That was such an awesome video. To see everyone celebrating (and it's not even Christmas yet!!), was a joy. You left me with a big smile on my face! Someday, I keep telling myself, I'll be there!
I missed my hometown Iloilo - the gastronomic hub of the Philippines with radiant smiles of ilonggos and romantic ilonggo accent 😊😮🎉❤
How come most Filipinos can sing really well. Liked the music 🎶🎵🎶🎵
Wow. Thank you for showing the capital city of Iloilo and the celebration. It's a beautiful province . U can visit too my province Bicol, Legaspi City in Albay where the majestic Mayon Volcano can find. Enjoy and have fun sir. Keep safe. God Bless. Watching from Riyadh ❤
Wow great show they know how to party in the Philippines 🤟🎉
Your contents are a standout… Thank you for keeping us abreast ‘bout ILOILO….Mike& Bianca…
You've come to the right moment of the year when Filipinos celebrate Christmas most extravagantly from the rest of the world's Christian community.
Hi Michael! Its actually pronounced as " mall + yeah" if that makes it easier hehe. It mean "dock" in Spanish. So Meulle Deli would translate to "The Dock Deli" in English
iloilo is on my radar for a place to live
You did a great job. Wow! Thanks for the coverage. The view from the drone was breath taking.
Filipinos will take advantage of the chance of merriment at any given time. Festivals, Christmas, religious events, concerts...they would bring out their best to participate in the spirit of camaraderie and for their own personal enjoyment as well.
Bracing for the next disaster or calamity to come, this is how we tend to dismiss/forget how broken we have been. This is a way to show/practice resiliency.
Thank you for dropping by Iloilo City, my hometown! I hope you enjoyed your visit and in the City of Love! I'm from Las Vegas and I miss going home.
Christmas lights and decorations in most parts of the country are spectacular but more than that the attitude and the anticipation that people have about the holidays are very pronounced and punctuated with food, music, church, family, friends, gift giving, lantern parades, fireworks and fire crackers. Iloilo has developed so much since the last time I was there as a child.
Cant wait till Dinagyang Festival. Need a lot more accommodation in iloilo city/province seeing a million people go to Dinagyang Festival. wikipedia says that a million people go to Dinagyang Festival
That is true!
Yeah I grown up in iloilo and people during high light celebrate is a massive.
Yes that’s true . Because it’s the most famous festival n the Philippines 😊
It truly is the most wonderful time of the year 🎄
You get my subscribe for playing that classical music at 14:10. I love it, and have never heard it from a vblogger. but I might have expected it in music-loving Philippines. I grew up listening to my Dad's records.
I totally enjoyed the portion of your video that you filmed with your drone. Great music selection as well. I've been following you for years now and your cinematography has increased exponentially. You keep makin' em and I'll keep watchin.
Thank you so much 😊
Thank you for showing.
Oh, how i miss Philippines 🇵🇭
Better not miss the early morning Dinagyang Pamukaw on the 16th. It'll be the start of the drum banging together with all tribes competing on the next month's Dinagyang.

Very excited for this!
I have my 50th birthday there in the old capitol building. The blue and white lights and the way they place the lights. Is like the festive Christmas show lights at SAKS FIFTH AVE. store in Manhattan, NY.

You pronounce it Ha-ni-way. Thanks for showing me Iloilo's Christmas extravaganza. Much love fr SoCal!
I thought "honey-why" as one possible option 🤔 but I'm a foreigner overseas so...
@@jaajar HONEY WHY. is the right way to pronounce ❤
Next time sir visit to Vigan City....
Many place to visit and the food so good.....
Looks like an amazing place to go
Iloilo City and it's people were similar with people living in Metro Manila. They mind their own business and they dress so well like Metro Manilans and not so found of attention from the camera but they will response and friendly as well when you approach them, with demeanor and good looking too.
Love it
It’s good for you celebrating Christmas in my beloved home town Iloilo, but for me I’m here in Saskatchewan Canada and it’s freezing in here. Enjoy your stay in Iloilo Philippines 🇵🇭. Thank you for bringing me back home through your awesome vlog. Merry Christmas 🎄.
The Philippines is now prosperous along with Cambodia.
We were in Cambodia and it's true the cranes were all over thousands of them. But the fifferen we found is every single construction site was a Chinese company with flown in Chinese construction workers doing all the work. None of this benefitted the people of Cambodia sadly. Also the traffic, road rules, how clean the cities were, infrastructure were not close to what we see here yet. Cambodia is a smaller country so it should be very fat transformation tthough
Christmas Season icelebrations s unique in the Philippines.
Good
This is pretty watching from Vancouver ❤❤❤
That is really cool
Please come back on january beacause its our dinagyang festival
Definitely (we live in Iloilo City so it's guaranteed)
The U.S. influence over the Philippines and the Filipinos are quite notorious. they love American culture more than any other cultures outside of their own, and American English is their preferred use of English.
True
love ur video and also your new subscriber 📹📹📹😍😍😍❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
🇵🇭☀️⭐⭐⭐ Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄
I enjoyed to your video. Thank you very much. Merry Xmas!!! ❤❤❤
Very nice sir....
This is your 2nd YT sir? I subcribe this also sir.
Thank you so much
Good awesome video ❤❤❤
Woow❤
Geez, so good to hear all these wonderful things about the Philippines, but to be honest with you, I am a very cultural oriented person, and love to travel, ( although I have not been able to afford to), but Philippines, ( as wonderful as it is , holds really little attraction to me, BUT I BELIEVE IT WILL, once I meet my fiancé in the Philippines.
Youl have to experience it to believe it
We don't care about you anyway! Boooooo!
Ide like to see this, how much is it it to stay there during this time of year
Woa to you
Celebrating the babylonian traditions and culture!

hi. what camera are you using? works well in low light scenarios. the drone shots were nice too. 😊
Shockingly it's the Go PRO Hero 10, which isn't usually that good in low light but decent tonight
maganda din sa dinagyang festival😅😅
my hometown😍😘😘
Darn been gone for 35 years. I have no words. Thanks for sharing. That old city jail been turned to Magical kingdom.
Who does that?😂
Go to zamboanga, they have programmable 80ft Christmas tree and at City hall, that had every year different theme
That's really really far from me or I'd definitely check it out
Hey brother. I love your videos. I want to go visit the Philippines, but I don't know anyone or anything there. I'm a vet like your friend. Do you know any groups that I can join, community or anything that I could look for before I go and maybe not be alone and blind there...ty brother. Keep up the good videos
Once people are here they generally are in real-life community, not really an online community anymore. Most cities like Iloilo have expat meet ups either weekly or bi-weekly. Where are you planning to move to?
The Capitol building is huge and majestic
Indeed!
You know the people there in Dumarao can speak english and they understand english but sometimes they can not understand what you are speaking because of slang pronounciation because foriegner the tonetion of english is different from english people. The school here in tne Philippines from elementary to college have an English subject ,if you speak english to pilipino you are speak try to slowdown.
Definitely will try to adapt

I'm not sure we can budget the trip this year but we definitely want to see that eventually!
The will all light up the sorroundings but many houses don't or can't afford to have electrecity
Where do you live in Iloilo without electricity? We have been all over haven't seen what you are saying?
@@ThatPhilippinesLife have you been to guimaras remote places or panay
