Railfanning Fremont - The last UP ZG2OAB

I went to catch the usual UP (Union Pacific) ZG2OAB and some Amtraks on June 2nd 2024. The ZG2OAB ran from Global 2 to Oakland every week on Sundays. Little did I know this would be the last one. A few days later I got a word from other railfans informing me UP would abolish the ZG2OAB, discontinuing the service. Luckily, a new train, the ICBOA will replace the ZG2OAB making up for the loss. Though, the ICBOA no longer takes this route, instead using the Cal-P line further north.

If the IOANP still works lathrop Sunday that’ll prove the OAB being abolished is false and if I see it through the diamonds. Plus the ZG2OAB is the only train that carries refrigerated meat and goods to Oakland

False Info bud, Shane has been going crazy so not everything he says is real, He told us that it was being ablosished but if it did we would have the ILITLT come back. FALSE INFO!

Yup they abolished it, it’s replacement is the ICBOA
