BB bro I just had back surgery back in August and have been dealing with nerve issues since. Finally getting back to somewhat normal. I feel your pain brother.
BB is still lucky. I met a guy that sold sand rails and did a jump like that. He landed on the side like that and broke his neck! He can't feel half his body now and has zero movement in his neck.

Safety on the scene as you ride with no helmet the excuses you use won’t do any good when you’re a vegetable cause you can’t see the tree in the rain and dark. Especially when BB is proof it works sure he’s really hurt,hurt not dead. Try hitting the cage or whatever with no helmet..
I had a thought that popped into my head. Is there any way all of that cage work he had done in turn make the frame and chassis to stiff and that's why the impact was so much greater? Or is that a dumb thought?
Did BB have suspension seat? Pinched or aggravated nerve is worse than a toothache. I was in a wheelchair for a month till mine finally healed. Couldn’t put weight on my leg or let it hang. I feel for him.
The tires stopped right as he hit the ground.. pretty sure he landed with his foot on the break.. it’s the only thing that makes sense unless something broke on the machine.. either way thank god he’s a beast and it looks like he’s gonna make a full recovery. Man scary stuff
now BB knows from experience learn from him as well. Don’t be a dumb ass never said a jump up that land you on the flat and flat landings are never good doesn’t matter the vehicle. Had he been on the hard pack? It would not have been as bad, because the front of his machine would not have dug into the sand like a lawn dart for that quick instant impact. also, that’s exactly what the Hans device is designed for so you got a wonder did he have the helmet hooked in it strapped tight or did he just have it half ass strapped? There’s definitely lessons to be learned. Glad to hear he’s out of one place and going to another on his way through recovery.
BB is over weight, that was the contributing factor that caused him to get hurt. Take care of your body, eat right, exercise and loose the weight. The safety gear is very important but equally important is having a body that can support the weight. No hate in saying that, just speaking the truth brother. Take care of yourself and get well.

I use Aquapel on my windshield and have been happy with it. In my experience it works better than Rain X.

My nexgen was adjusted perfectly, according to the manual. It could of easily been my neck had I not wore it. Keep it safe!
