6/16/2022....Just ordered the kit from these guys and filled my Black ink cartridge...Took me about 3 minutes, cleaned up, plugged the cartridge into the printer and away I went. I have never refilled an ink cartridge before, so i followed this videos instructions. It Honestly couldn't be any easier. So if you are reading this...give it a shot!! I am so glad I did. No more being ripped off and paying $60 for damn ink cartridges
Kevin, YOU ROCK! This is what I fricking needed to hear. I knew that what HP was doing by selling printers that aren't functional unless you buy their ink was an unfair business practice and therefore unlawful I just didn't have time to research consumer law while trying to figure out how my new printer works and didn't want to have to devote too much time to their nonsense by filling FTC complaints etc.
Thank you so much!! You show and explain it very well!! The instructions aren't so clear and mine just says to put the color ink in the correct holes but doesn't give you any idea how to determine that!! The toothpick check is simple and prevents mistakes!! Explaining the priming is great as well. My instructions simply say to "suck out the air" but doesn't explain why or how to tell if you are successful or not!! Thank you so much for making this a much easier job than it would have been otherwise!!
I get my ink from MIR here in Australia. He has great prices on ink. That's 400mls of 4 diff. (100mls of each) colours for $56. I started using his products about ten years ago. Great guy.
Awesome video! Bought the product and refilled both black and color. It was a little messy and I probably should have worn gloves, but I was very happy. It took about 5 or 6 black printed pages before it looked right and about the same amount of color pages. Will definitely buy more when these start to run out!!
Thanks for the video, I got tired of my old printer not having a chip resetter and ripping me off. I used this to decide which new printer to get so I can refill the cartridges easily without the chip being blocked
Cool video. Another trick to get the ink down to bottom without using a syringe is to take a vacuum cleaner hose and suck it down. Works every time for me
In this video you poked the sticker on top of the cartridge, refill the cartridge and then started printing but it doesnt show or mention whether we have to put tape over the holes or leave them open. I would imagine we would have to tape them to keep pressure in there but I might be wrong. So...do we put tape over the holes or will it be fine keeping the holes open?
I have an HP Envy 6458e printer and after refilling and using the 67 ink cartridge once, it then comes up with an error stating that my cartridge is either not an HP original cartridge or is an instant ink cartridge. It IS an original HP 67 cartridge and not an instant ink cartridge. What can I do?
Thanks for subscribing and for your great question! I really appreciate your support-I'm working hard to reach that 100k milestone, and every subscriber counts. It’s been 8 years, and I’m halfway there, so your engagement means a lot to me. To answer your question, yes, you can use aftermarket Canon ink to fill an HP cartridge without any problem. From my experience, HP and Canon’s dye and pigment inks are pretty much interchangeable. HP doesn’t actually manufacture its own ink-they outsource it. In North America, HP’s ink is produced by Collins Ink, which is now part of Kao Collins after being acquired by Kao Corporation. Kao manufactures a lot of white-label inks and custom formulations that get rebranded for various printer companies, which is why you often see similar quality across different brands. I get a lot of questions, and it can be hard to keep up with them all, but I try to answer subscribers’ comments within 48 hours. If you ever need a quicker response, feel free to email me directly at support@bchtechnologies.com. Thanks again for watching and commenting-I really appreciate your support!
Hi I can't get a hp 22 cartridge to work. It prints a little and then some of the colour starves and prints blank and then it works again if I leave it to rest. I'm not quiete sure it's air, my guess is the filter is dirty or the ink is too thick. What do you think? I tried everything already. Dissassambled it and all. I'm thinking the dirt is between the filter and the printhead
I am so frustrated!! I bought the first time kit in this video from Amazon, and I cannot for the life of me get the thing to clip on my cartridge, neither can my strong (man) roommate. I am not using a brand name HP cartridge, but thats not supposed to matter right? Looks identical to the video but the clip seems entirely way too small???? HELP!!
Hey Kevin, all the Epson and HP content ( which is fine!) here tells me Canon printers don't need as much work to keep going, I have an MP470 running since 2006 (apart, cleaned and lubed a few times) and this last 2 years using your color refill ink. Also using black pigment from Canon's new/er bulk ink printers so the envelopes don't run in the rain. Thanks!
If your printer is not reading the cartridge or says it's corrupted but you just refilled it you can do this but at your own risk: When refilling the cartridge take off the top paper completely, you'll see a circular indentation to the right of the refill hole. After refilling use a tip of pen cap or something strong and press that circular depression 10 to 15 seconds, but do not puncture it... That resets the cartridge and usually you can use again with great success...
Ya the sticker is reinforced, it comes of pefectly with a fingernail. Just stick it on the side and go to work. :) Thanks. There is alot of stuff under there. Including what looks like a reset gadget. :)
ORIGINALLY POSTED MAY 2022: I'm a photographer who has owned an HP 2755e for less than two months -- and since I print photos rather than documents, I've ALREADY spent almost as much on color ink as on the printer! If I could get just a half a dozen high-resolution full-color photos from 67XL cartridges between refills, I'd be ahead of the game logistically as well as financially because I wouldn't be reliant on local printing services. So either it's LEARN how to play the inkjet cartridge refilling game, or start saving for a color laser printer: MANY thanks!
12/2022 UPDATE: Your BCH refill kit for my 67XL cartridges arrived. I was so grateful that it contained three times as much black ink, I poured out the ink from the kit I bought which came with only one bottle of black ink -- AND the EXTRA black ink I had to buy!
They had to give the right to repair. They had no choice, millions of people repair their own things. To bad they don't tighten regulations on Pharmaceutical companies as easy, for paying off Doctors to over prescribe their medications. Doctors are paid thousands each year to prescribe medications that drug representatives bring to their offices. When regulations FOR THAT are created, our world will be a much better place.
Dear friends, someone knows how to reset the print cartridge counter, because the problem in HP 2400 printers is not in the lack of ink ... it is that the cartridges have a limited number of printing sheets and if Pass that number, the system simply puts it as a useless cartridge, and so this cartridge can no longer be used in any other printer, someone knows or knows more about this subject, I will greatly appreciate your comments, cordial greetings to all.
I too am interested in this nformation considering i spent nearly 5 hours trying to get my deskjet 2722 was not printing well after purchasing a black cartridge from Amazon. SMH how does the printer know Amazon lets people sell fake stuff? lol scratching my head
I used to refill ink carts on a cannon printer, then one day it no longer worked. Even when I attempted to use new shop bought ink carts, printer companies will murder the printer rather than allow you to refill the ink carts.

Damn straight on that last sentence bro!
Thanks, Kevin. You rock. I was going through these 67 cartridges like crazy. Not anymore!

Great video and clear instructions! First time refilling a cartridge and it worked flawlessly. Black print test page looked great.

It helps me resolve my problem.

Hi the black cartridge i have 67 has 2 holes at the bottom and 1 at the top . What hole should I fill with black ink . Thank you for a great video
Thank you Kevin. Great job teaching Sir.

Great video. I love the legal explanation.
Worked great on the cartridge shipped with printer. Thank you.
Is this still valid ? Did HP update firmware to block refilled catridges

could you just submerge the sponge to get it entirely wet and put it back in once you open the cartridge's? is this such a thing of over filling it?
You are guru of printing.
Refilled same to you but cartridge is not printing ? Blinking light of ink continue of hp 63
Great content. For someone like me who prints a few times a week, it's probably easier to just spend the $25 bucks on ebay every 4-6 months.
is it better to refill after market carriage or OEM, and how how may times can we refill OEM carriage
Awesome video but where is your link selling these? Am I just not seeing it?

One question left. What type (s) of ink should or can you use?
Can the aftermarket ink I bought for a canon inkjet printer be used to fill an HP cartridge? Thanks Kevin.

Hi Kevin, I have HP desk jet 4155e printer and it’s not allowing me to use the refilled cartridges. Any suggestions how to fix that ?

Thanks. A few people know that printers need lube. Of course, most printers are thrown away before that.
That was quite😮 easy Thanks to you!
Kevin you are the best!
Thanks!
Hey Kevin! Can I recycle the setup ink cartridges that came with the printer once it’s emptied?
Yes
Do I need to prime the cartridges every time I refill them?
No. Keep the sponge moist, so the ink collection box underneath will be full. The priming is basically sucking ink into this box.

Is there a difference between a 67 cartridge and a 67 xl cartridge?
I think its just the ink capacity, 67xl have more ink capacity rather than 67 but they are just the same actually
How much ml of black ink i need to fill in?

I bought the same printer and I refilled the cartridge and it says that it can't use the cartridge because I refilled it. What should I do?
put it in a few more times and the error code should go away and let you use it. HP basically wants to scare you into not refilling.
