Only few people know how important Ringo Starr has been for the Beatles' success. He gave to the drum section a sort of 3D sound, thanks to his absolutely original use of the sequence snare-tom-cymbal. You are one of those few people, and certainly the most gifted one... you are so damn accurate, so technically perfect, that I must confess that being able to watch your performances looks like a dream to me... thanks again
Your first drum cover of “Rain” helped inspire me to play drums back in the day back when I was in middle school. It’s one of those I liked to go back and revisit to help teach me how to replicate drum fills accurately. I’m about to be 24 now so it actually gives me great nostalgia to see this posted and I’m glad to see your ability to nail those trippy fills haven’t wavered
You got that hi hat swinging motion Ringo does perfectly. Also, leading the fills with the left, just like Ringo. That's some attention to detail. Great job!
YES!!!!! THE RINGO STARR OF YOITUBE IS BACK! AND YOUR DRUM COVER IS SO ACCURATE! AND YOU LEAD WITH YOUR LEFT HAND! THAT'S WJY YOU GET THE RINGO FEEL! GREAT COVER AS ALWAYS!
Great to see you again sir. Hello from England, keep safe. One of my all-time favourite Beatles songs along with the a side and Revolver. Great cover as always and helps me try to play it as close as Ringo's original. Again, stay safe.
I have always said that this is the first song where drums and base took the 'lead' in a song. The vocals and tune were secondary to the playing of Starr and MacCartney.
@@adamkhan1480 Mind boggling, isn't it? That said, I'm glad they released it at the speed on the original release of Revolver. Like most Beatles releases, it worked!
Glad to see you are well and healthy! Such a pleasure to see a Ringo masterpiece covered so perfectly! Stay safe my friend, look forward to many updated covers from you! Domo Arigato
Hi. Are you the same person that had a different video of this drum cover on UA-cam about 11 years ago? If yes, it was amazing and I tried finding it again about 5 years ago but couldn’t. So I eventually gave up looking for it.
I'm so glad you re-made the video - you do an excellent job recreating Ringo's drum work. Years ago, I used your original version to show several drummers what I was looking for on some of my originals. Ringo is an amazing drummer (and you're awesome as well)! Is there a way I can contact you?
That fill at 0:28 is quite a natural and great way to add notes via double strokes . Although I feel he(Ringo) would have played the "Floor Tom" note Sngle strokes. I haven't seen videos of him playing with double strokes or even paradiddles.
Awesome! Rain is one of the ringo's best draming songs. You really perfectly copy ringo's draming style.especially you perfectly copy ringo's habit when you strike the hi hat SYMBALS. Thank you for stunning play.
@@batmankozyy I have also asked about Its All Too Much before. The Beatles version has too many handclaps which detract from what Ringo is playing. Hope to see you play it soon.
Oh boy! such a pleasure hear this cover drum, for the second time. I'm from Argentina and I love Ringo so much. I want to ask you one thing, how many hours do you play drum? You help me to undertand and see the things simple.Thank you very much! instagram? Lot of love, Ondina, an argentinian girl
I'm not here to criticise your playing marvellous the problem with your drum is your BIG cymbal I had the same problem. Do you what I did I made a lot of holes in it and put some staple clicks. to make the sound more fine. I don't know but that Cyber sound bad. but you sound more like Ringo than anyone else. It's a wonderful episode.
I'm glad you visited here again. ;)
Perfect as always, and Ringo's favorite song. Thanks!
Thank you very much!!
Ringo Star is a Genius drummer
Have you heard this at original speed? All the more incredible to hear Ringo playing this so fast. I would love to see you do this at original speed.
Play it at 1.25 speed for the og speed
Best falling-down stairs pattern ever invented. Unintended punctuality perfected. Thank you, sir, for your supremely confident interpretation.
Love your confidence and the tone of your kit.
Damn you really nailed this. The looseness, power, drum tone, really nice. One of my favourite drum performances ever.
Thanks for covering The Beatles busiest drum lines!

Brilliantly done both originally (of course) and now here
great performance and lovely sounding kit. the snare is much fuller sounding than Ringo's from this era, but it's a very nice sound.

I really like how you have your toms tuned for this. Nice and loose.

Listen to how fast he ACTUALLY played it in the release of Revolver

雲をつかむようだけれど、なぜか曲によく合う不思議な感じがそのままですね。感激しました。
Congratulations! One of the finnest Ringo's pieces drumming. Perfectly executed!

@@batmankozyy 40 YEARS???!! Why do you look so young then??
@@yunarukami14 I know
I have 2 questions.
Which is more intricate to play,?Rain or She Said, She Said and which do you prefer to play?
"She Said She Said" is more complicated. It is difficult to express a slightly swinging feeling. Rain is more straight and dynamic. ;)
@@batmankozyy Thanks. She Said, She Said also has a change in time I think.
About another question...I prefer to play "She Said She Said"!
@@batmankozyy I prefer it to listen to also. Ringo really excelled himself on these two songs.

Got that perfect John Bonham snare going on sounds like butter
Speed it up to 1.25 for the original takes speed (they slowed it down for the album)
This sounds so good! How do you mic your drums?
If I could play one song of the Beatles on drum this would be the one
