I think the moving shoes is like a visual symbol of the fact that he pours his soul and heart into each and every one of his works (shoes) with hard work, whereas with the other one, he's just churning out mass-manufactured shoes that have no originality.

I love the lesson this video teaches us. How a small, personalized item made with love can beat bulk goods anytime.
Lol.. It's a bad lesson actually. The little guy cheated and in the end it was the customers who lost.

It's not. It would have been there all the time otherwise. At first it was at "000" than it turned to "001" and then it went up to "666", It's how many shoes he sold.
