- In this series, we are pitting monsters from Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 against each other.
In this video Demogorgon tries to solo all Irenicus's creatures in the elven city of Suldanessellar.

Very fun to watch! I think it'd be even faster if Demo had his Glabrezu summons and his massive regen like he does in Watcher's Keep. Pretty awesome that he was immune to Time Stop, too.
Fully agreed on that. That time stop immunity has been a rather nasty surprise for quite a few players (me included) :D Thanks for the comment.

That was very interesting to watch. Part of me was thinking surely he can't take on the dragon too? Surprisingly he just about did despite all the damage he took. Those Adamantite Golems are tough buggers. Never would have thought how resistant they were to Demogorgon's attacks. They certainly survive long enough to do some damage.
True. Of the vanilla BG2 Creatures, Golems actually seem to be the most dangerous ones to Demogorgon :) Thanks for the comment.

Well, not only Demogorgon did it, but also it was handicaped due to lack of BS from scripts that are present when you fight against it

lol this was fun to watch. I never played BG2 which is crazy considering how much the first one drove us crazy when it came out. Recently bought the whole enhanced edition and replayed the first one with an exact rendition of my character from back then. A Cavalier. Do I want to play the newest one that happens between 1 and 2? can`t recall the name. Or do I want to go straight to 2?
Thanks for the comment. Imo the Siege of Dragonspear is nice addition to BG series. It is not quite as good as 1 and 2 but still good enough, at least for me :)

Just played siege of dragonspear for the very first time few days ago. It's not so long and it's totally worth your time. Nothing magistral or deep as bg1 (never played bg2 so I cant compare atm, but I'm planning to play and plat it) a pretty linear game with little backtracking. You will surely enjoy it 😊

I played original D&D in the late 70s and I once drew a battle scene between Orcus and Demogorgon, and I remember drawing twin tails.

Thanks for the question. You can use console to summon them. Ofc they don't function as proper party members, they cannot fit from all doorways etc. and the AI is not as good as it could be. You can check baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Console

Do you use SCS? I feel like these battles would be so cool if the spawned NPCs used their scripts.
