Myanmar seems to be a country in which you can't never be bored...... There is always something interesting to watch or to do in that amazing place...... Next year I will start saving money just to visit that awesome country......
I can't thank you enough for the video as I am a " Mawlamyingnian " and I miss everything about my city. And right on time,I spotted your videos visiting Mawlamying and I go wild.Thank you again.Hope to see more video coming days.
I would have to say, that this is one of my favorite videos. It is amazing the sacrifices being made to bring us such extraordinary adventures. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks! Did you get to know Daryl when you were in KL? He recently interviewed Remote Darren, who I think you included in your video about some of your favorite travel vlogs. Maybe Daryl tracked you down as well? By the way, I like your idea of spending a full 30 days in each of those places. If my count is right, you've reached 9 countries. Where to next?
@@PlanetDoug yeah, I met up with Remote Darren in KL. I was in KL the full month of October. Spent Nov in Split Croatia and currently in Lisbon. I head to Valencia Spain for January.
Hello Legendary Doug. Great #Vlog there in Myanmar. Keep on Sir, hope the UA-cam algorithm reward you warmly for the great job. You're simply the best. Legend Doug, stay safe Sir.
I always wanted to go to Kyauk Ta lone pagoda . I always wanted to climb up . But never had a chance . I probably didn’t make effort . Thank you very much for your video. So beautiful view . You are hyperventilate man but you made it ! I am proud of you 👍
I admired your effort, sir. But please be careful. Anyway, I really like your videos. They are simple yet very interesting. Keep up the good work. And good luck to you.
To be a tourist can be like hard work if you want to visit all the beautiful sites and can be exhausting, I understand your comments about aging as Iam 67 and while my health lasts can still visit most sights that I want to visit. I find it a challenge and can be very rewarding experience, but I think keeping fit is very important, I regularly go to the gym whenever one is available while travelling and at home go to one 4 or 5 times a week. Well done on your achievements here, especially in bear feet you pushed yourself to the limit all credit to you!
I'm not sure if I was serious about aging and how it feels. It's not something I think about very much. I just kind of do whatever I want to do, and my body usually comes through for me. But that was an odd day, and I really was surprised that I was breathing so heavy and for so long. I'm hoping it was a combination of the heat, the hot stones on my feet, talking into the camera, and just being in a foreign environment. I guess the true test will come if I ever manage to get on the road with my bicycle again. 🙂
Brilliant episode! Thank you for taking us along. Beautiful scenery. I am glad you are hitting the gongs now! That’s a very good outcome of your 5-acts challenge. I think you are too hard on yourself: I am a bit younger but definitely out of breath when trying to climb on this type of climate! Not mentioning having to talk at the same time! And burning/cutting your feet... Conditions are definitely difficult! But it was really worth the effort you made for us. You definitely deserve your cold drink. I wish you monetise your videos so that we can contribute a tiny bit to your well-being. Continue the great work!
It was a bit of an odd day from the point of view of being out of breath. I wasn't kidding that I have felt less physically fit lately, but it's not usually that bad. The climb to that pagoda really wasn't that high, but I was so out of breath the whole time and even hyperventilating. It was weird. I blame it on talking into the camera and burning my feet. 😀
I can feel my feet burning just by looking at yours. 😂 But that pain worth it i think, with such a beautiful panoramic view up there. Well done mr.doug 🙌
It was definitely nice to climb up a little bit and get some views of the countryside. Everything looks so different (and usually better) once you go up a bit higher and get a nice perspective.
Nice adventure, yeah the body usually peak after 40s, everyone will go through it in life... no matter who you are. Also, pls drink lots of water, especially in Myanmar, very easy to dehydrate and you might faint alone. Watch out and take care and of course enjoy :)
Great video... must have been great view with naked eyes... but was it worth climbing so much in heat? you could have had a heart attack... lol, take care of urself. Try to post videos every alternate days.
No, I don't think I would call it hardship. Of course, I always find hot weather to be difficult. And it's challenging when you don't speak the local language and are alone. But, for me, there is far more pleasure than hardship.

Your vlogs or youtube channel can be renamed *adventures with Doug*👏🏻👏🏻
Considering that I still haven't managed to any cycling since I started shooting video, changing the name wouldn't hurt. 😀
@@PlanetDougand Nusantara H. I like "Adventures with Doug". I think travelling on a motorbike is more practical.

Dehydration is a possibility. I don't know what it is, but I almost never feel thirsty. So I probably don't drink nearly enough in my regular days.
The Cycling Canadian not so much thirst, but frequency and colour of urine is an indication of dehydration.Dark colour?dehydration.White collar people from cold countries often don’t drink enough.
