Great vlog!! It makes me want to see this beautiful city. I've visited the Philippines twice, but never went to Vigan. I love the Spanish colonial architecture. I hope I can visit the Philippines again and see this city, thanks to watching your video.
I wish businesses and those who offer services in tourist areas should be fair in their rates. That's one reason why foreigners, or even local tourists avoid going to touristy spots because most businesses charge too much. Willing tourists will pay, but may not come again, especially if they know the price is quite unreasonable already
After Vigan, there are many places to visit in Ilocos, there is the Paoaway Sand dune, then explore Laog historical places, the Bangui windmill to name a few. From Vigan up to Pagudpud you can go around the northern Philippines, from Pagudpud to Sagada to Banawe Rice terraces then back to Baguio.
@Y'all are bunch of hypocrites That was before. Now it will be lesser because there are lots of highways that are open, probably 9 hours travel from Manila or even less.
It's nice to see friendly faces greeting you, even if you're traveling alone you'll never feel alone here in the Philippines. Safe travel always, have fun and enjoy. 😊
I really like how your vlog is so authentic, like you really try to explore the Philippines like how a local would. Not the usual travel vlog where they only show the expensive resorts hotels and fancy restaurants.
Wow! You went to my home town!! Glad that you had a good time exploring Vigan & was able to visit Bell Tower before it got destroyed by Earthquake last July. I also suggest if you will gonna travel to Vigan again, try eating Empanada & Longganisa its two of the famous local food there. :))
You should travel and make blogs in Philippines during summer time, not during months of July to December coz it's already rainy and typhoon season here in Philippines, enjoy your stay here, ingat always and GOD bless💖💖💖💖💖💖💖👍👍🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Wow! You enjoyed Vigan. Great and enjoyed to watch your vlog. Hope you can visit too Ilocos Norte, as there are many interesting places to visit there. Keep safe and take care Seung Ha!
I love Vigan because it has preserve the building during Spanish colonization. It will bring you back to the old times. I also love riding the kalesa. You got lucky there because you were able to watch the shooting of " the Probinsyano". It's a famous series of abs-cbn. The longest series I think.. because it has always high ratings.
You're so lucky you were able to watch some shootings of a "Teleserye" (like K-Drama) in the Philippines. I've never been to Vigan but by watching your vlog feels like I'm also there. May I suggest that you continue to inform us how much you paid for the tour, hotels or accomodations you have as well as the prize of your food if it's not too much to ask😊. Stay safe Suengha and thanks for sharing.
Poqui-poqui is an eggplant dish. Its grilled first, peeled and then mashed together with onions and tomatoes. Best partnered with Bagoong and hot rice❤️
Very interesting guy, i admire his strong personality and courage. Different content than others, i mean he travel a long way without a concrete plans haha that's called literally road trip, i salute your confidence..don't you worry 95% of filipinos are kind and generous. Enjoy and keep safe..more fun in the Ph 👌
Fun Fact: The show that you saw that was filming was Ang Probinsyano and it's one of the longest-running shows in the Philippines. I really enjoy your vlogs because you're really having a great time. Take care always and safe travels. :)
You can travel solo anywhere in the Philippines. It's quite safe, especially if you're male. Stick to the touristy places. Just don't go to the areas where the rebels are.
The perfect time to visit the Philippines around January, February, mid March weather is nice. Mid March to end of May weather is hot. Sun hurts your skin. Bring alot of sunscreen since 200ml here costs P500! Filipinos flock beaches around end of March, April (holy week means vacation time), and May (no schools for kids) because that’s their vacation starts and they leave at work for 3-5days. By the way the last time I travel Vigan was in 2014 i fell inlove with Ilocos empanada and tehir suka. and we only have half day to visit it. And it was memorable for me!
You might want to visit Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar - a heritage themed resort village: collection of original/ restored pre-colonial and spanish era houses and mansions from all over the Philippines. It is located in Bataan about 3.5hrs from Manila.
I recommend to visit baguio during dec or January the city is the coldest city here in the philippines and theres alot of koreans there too and its main mode of transport is taxi and jeepney but don't worry taxi is very cheap since it's not airconditioned and likewise the locals are friendly and helpful and theres alot to explore in baguio Edit: I'm not too sure if the taxi rate in baguio increased but since the pandemic happened and alot of drivers got affected Its may very likely
the range of starting fare here in baguio is around 35-45? not sure if the fare was affected by the gas price increase but it would still be around that range haha jeepney to costs around 9 pesos for short trips. for the weather, its warm po in the morning and it gets chilly in the afternoon.
@@quayshawn3944 Actually Baguio was the coldest part among other cities in the Philippines.. but because of growing population and building were coming-up, pinetrees were cut. Now, some part of Benguet particularly Atok was the coldest part here in Benguet. But ofcourse the City of Baguio was the centerpoint of tourist before moving around Benguet. Baguio is still the summer capital since it is still colder than any other Cities in the Philippines
Great vlog! Raw and natural: Congratulations! Around February 2020, my husband and I planned to visit Vigan for our wedding anniversary in May 2020. However, the plan was scrapped - obviously due to the covid-19 pandemic and the lockdowns that followed.

Eggplant is the main ingredient of poqui poqui and eggs, onions, tomatoes and garlic seasoned with fish sauce. One of my favorite local food.
