Hard to say. Then he would have spent the money on a used non-EV car, and would have been paying more for gas, and not sure if he could keep up the property tax, home insurance, etc. for his home.

@@trainwreck420ish - He is making some unusual decisions. He no longer works as Tesla and probably can't afford to keep the house. Also, he had a 1.5 hour commute each way (3 hours total) and grew tired of it.

Let's be real here. What's hurting Tesla is the terrible economy. Many have less money to buy. More and more people are keeping their older cars to save money. Many, many people can't afford these electric vehicles or cant justify the finance payment or large down payment required.
It's both. Elon musk is screwing tesla with his remark on X. I use to like him but he became all crazy and right wing. Mind you I'm neither left or right but a moderate. Also sales are down because EV incentives are disappearing in many states. I live in ca and I got 7500 from state on top of federal which was 15k off. Now CA has exhausted the funding for that and has slow down ev car sales cause of that

My first time i ever lived from my home state shit didnt go so well with family after my brothers gf had a kid with him just to get papers. I ended up having to work hello fresh, ups, and sig flags while living inside a 09 impala. Used my planet fitness membership to shower and workout all the year of COVID. If had a fucking job at Tesla just for a year what do you guys think i wouldve accomplished ?😂
