9:10 just seen your Video of the Braids. We are on our way back there today, having started in Thirsk in Yorkshire, now in the Seahouses in Northumberland. Now on our way to the Braids, before going up the Southcoast300. Loved the video and we just love the Braids. My good Lady loves the Gateway Village.

Excited to see this series. Nice the site let you in. Looks like a good place to stay. Well equipped and not all crowded in. Love a good old co-op. ( doughnuts🤣) lots of handy shops nearby. We’ve not been stopped filming in public places -yet. Seems a bit odd to stop you. Safe travels both 👍🐶🚐🧙♂️

Looked a well kept site and handy for the motorway. I'm a commercial surveyor for a utility company and sometimes have been asked why I am taking photographs, a couple of years ago we had a council parks project which was a nightmare on the photography front. Cheers K.

I imagine a lot of the time people are just curious as to what people are up to when photographing which is natural. I can imagine ref parks in this day and age - must have been a nightmare for you. That’s what I thought, can understand the challenge in this day and age but when explained, I would have said crack on - anything you see as a problem give us a shout and given me a load of info…didn’t make sense, not sure what the worry would be. Mmm the filming in public places debate, from what I’m led to believe filming for your own pleasure and private viewing is fully legal and not an issue however knowingly filming for public broadcasting is a very different matter, I choose to not ask permission and if anyone complains I’ll remove it I guess. Looking forward to the rest of the series, didn’t fancy renewing the vows at the blacksmiths shop while there?
Thank you - ref vows - interesting one ref vows - it was a fleeting visit this time - hmmm maybe one to consider in the future - not a bad idea 😀 I had the same views ref filming and it hasn’t changed it following this - mostly common sense isn’t it - completely agree if someone asked just remove it. If I was going to give particularly harsh review I would probably ask for comment - that said wouldn’t normally film if it’s rubbish 😀 Enjoy the rest of your week and weekend, All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Nice stop over on your trip. Photography in public places is fully legal but some people can get funny about it but I'd its private property then that's a different thing. Guess it's private property as such and that's why they were abit funny about it. Shame as its good advertising?
Thanks Tim. Seemed a bit daft to stop me finishing given was 80%+ done, fair to challenge on what I was up to but when discovered I don’t know why the chap in the office was bothered. The guy who approached me seemed fine with it but his boss asked him to ask me to not film anymore. Maybe there’s something top secret near Costa :) Agree and its essentially encouraging anyone who watches it in the area to perhaps check it out. Wonder if they have had some trouble in the past.
