We are missing your videos, we really enjoyed them. You have inspired my husband into getting beers from all the places we have caravaned this year. Do hope youe are both well and looking forward to more videos next year. Happy Christmas 🎁🎅🎄🍺🍹
Hi Liz yes that's a good point, we normally film more of the campsites but this time we didn't seem to have any footage to share - we will definitely return though and will film more 😁 thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🥰
My music journey began about 100 yards where you're camped, in Gibson Park. We were on a week long school trip from school in Lanarkshire, down to Melrose. Loved it. One chap brought a portable record player & LP's with him, Buddy Holly was played. This was circa 1979, and that chap was Greg Kane from Hue & Cry. I've lived in the Borders since then, its a magical place. You should take a wee walk up the Eildon Hills, nice walk up and views all over the Borders. There's more shops in Galashiels, Supermarket etc Enjoy Melrose, special place in my heart/soul. Safe driving.
I've just come across you two today.. and like the rapor you have with each other. I see Caroline's got you worked out Iain.. she's not daft. 😂 I look forward to watching your back catalogue of videos.. and obviously future ones.
Hi Iain, Caroline and Mollie, been following you Guys for a while now , just subscribed as normally watch UA-cam videos on our TV, fairly new to Motorhoming, we actually go to that Melrose site alot, great isn’t it!, great pubs in the street too!, best wishes from Bruce and Linda from Edinburgh, mybe bump into you one of these days on the road 😎.
Aw thank you that's very kind 🥰 we absolutely loved Melrose and a great site for you from Edinburgh, nice for a quick getaway 👍 We absolutely love Edinburgh site too, one of our favourites so if you see us around please come and say hi 😁
Melrose looks nice. I was trying to picture where you were but I was confusing myself. Nice walks, just like us finding the path with a dead end 😃 Like the expert navigation skills to the pub though 😉👍🏻 Health and Safety will catch up with the wall walkers soon 🤣 Great Vlog. Safe travels 🚐 Trev
Hoping you are both ok. Myself and wife very much enjoyed your videos and I hope more are in the planning? We are thinking of a Germany trip just because of your black forest break. Really hope your doing well and preparing for a lovely Christmas.
Looking forward to my first trip to Melrose early next month even more now, after watching this vlog. The walks by the river will appeal to my”4 legged gang” and at least one of them will be following Mollie’s paddle in the river 😂. I’m thinking I should have booked a few more nights….still, like you guys, I can always go back. Great video as usual, thanks for sharing your adventures 👍
Hi Claire, Ian and Mollie, We are currently away at Mile farm shop and caravan site in Pocklington, Joanne thinks you have stayed here and that's how we knew about I'm not sure, it's lovely and worth a visit if you haven't stayed Could you please let us know to settle this little argument 😊 Thanks Paul and Joanne 😁 👍
Hello both so sorry for the delay in replying 🥰 Pleased to confirm yes we did stay there and really enjoyed it, it was one of our very first adventures in the van and first one we filmed so great memory Joanne 😁👍 hope you enjoyed it too, Pocklington was lovely
You got a Stewart's pint, yey! Got some bottles arriving soon from our trip there 😀 Melrose looks lovely these days, not been in a while. I have worked with the owners of tempest, lovely people.
Hi, We have never stayed at Melrose, but it looks lovely very close to our friends in Earlston. We think Ian needs a map refresher 😅 It's just funny how he can find the local brewery lol. Caroline not so impressed with Ians local history tour 😢 Lovely to see Mollie running about. Please keep the vlogs coming really enjoy. Take care all. Paul and Joanne 😊
I’m so pleased you finally came to the Scottish Borders and hopefully you’ll be back. I live in Kelso and it’s also a fabulous town not as big as Melrose but we also have an abbey and a micro pub called Rutherfords that is well worth a visit. Unfortunately Kelso don’t have a campsite but there is a free car park on the mayfield riverside walk that you can stay 60 hours so an overnight stay and a visit to the micro pub next time you’re up this way. Great to see the borders from a visitor’s perspective. I have a small b&b and some of our guests know more about the Scottish Borders than I do 😆🤦♀️ and the American guests just love an abbey and a castle which Kelso has both 😊
One of our favourite sites and such a wonderful town. Plenty of walks and places to eat and drink. Did you see the abbey lit up at night? It is stunning.
Hello sorry for the delay in replying 🥰 Pooch OneZee is the dog bag we have, there are a few different brands available though too, we have a slightly larger one for Mollie than we probably need but it allows her to lie down etc. 👍
Hi guys! I have a question….is the NEC MH & CVan show @ NEC next month the best show to go to for MoHo/ Campervan build ideas ( self build)….or would you suggest an alternative? Hi Molly from Tank and Kora!❤
Hi Richard, yes we eould definitely recommend this one for layout ideas and self build inspiration, we got so many ideas ourselves as it's absolutely vast, lots of innovation and new tech too. The only show we would say is better but haven't been ourselves yet is the Dusseldorf show which we understand is even bigger. 👍
@@richardsracingmad if you get there early before it opens when they let you in it’s quieter and then again also after around 3.30pm - 4pm it starts to quieten down and you can see more. A good day out, hope you enjoy 😊
That's the beauty of Scotland (among many other things...) but for this trip we had read about the forestry scheme and wanted to try an overnight to see how it worked and it also supports them financially - as a keen mountain biker use the forest's a lot so don't mind paying to stay. We hope to have wild camping more featured in the future, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🥰

Looks like you had a great time, Melrose reminded me of Penrith. Cheers K.
Looked a nice site and the area looked great. The chip and Mac looked carbalicious. Take care Gill
We’ve done Melrose a few times, fantastic site and a lovely town with great pubs. Our dogs love it, we have 2 x Tibetan Terriers, Maisie and Mollie 😀

Ian…there’s a Abbey ruins with a pub in it, one wing…
It’s in Wales, kind of Monmouthshire / Hereford area, I’m sure u can google it. Dog friendly.

High guys good work as ever. how do you split the camera view inside and outside thanks
Hi Gary, we have an Insta One X2 camera which has dual lens so you can film both directions at once then split in the editing software 👍
Does Ian identify as a cat, because I get the feeling he is using his lives up very quickly😂
One of our favourite sites and such a wonderful town. Plenty of walks and places to eat and drink. Did you see the abbey lit up at night? It is stunning.
Remind me of which dog drying bag you use for Mollie guys. Cheers
