These are such huge POSs. They’re not particularly quiet or absorbent over the road; they obviously don’t handle very well; there’s no particularly sophisticated engineering; materials aren’t particularly rich. The first gen cars at least had up to date mechanicals for the era and had some nice materials.
I actually think the RX is a segment leader for quite the opposite. Though the materials used and build quality aren’t equal to mid 2000’s Lexus, they still fare well against contemporary crossovers, especially domestics. Lexus reliability is what really puts them over the top.
I can’t argue with the fact they’re reliable and yeah, compared to the domestics they are good. But honestly I feel an Escape (highly underrated car) or Tiguan have a more refined chassis and with a 2.0, the Ford has vastly better performance. Is it cheaper inside? Yes. Is it less durable? Yes. Should the Lexus have a ride, road noise and steering/handling which matches the Escape? Also yes.
i have a 2019 i enjoy driving it ❤❤❤❤ it’s my weekend car
This car is perfect for so many uses…and never lets you down.
The bubble but comment 😂😂😂
The old RX knows what its got back there.
