Exobiology would be such a cool field to join. Collaborating with all those different scientists sounds so interesting. I like what Eshan said "This is what science should look like"
Im estatic. I was worried our younger generations werent carrying torches if you will. This fellow guest on Fraser Cain helps me to believe in some of the generations that are younger. So impressive!! Thanks guys.
No doubt that throughout human history, every single older generation thinks the younger generation is dumb, useless, and lazy. I'm nearly 60, and I've heard this my entire life. I didn't like it when I was a kid, I don't like it now. There's a plethora of books, movies, TV shows, and historical writings of old people complaining about young people. It's only your perspective because things aren't what they used to be, and you forgot what it's like to be young. Humans have always been the same, but languages, culture, knowledge, and technology constantly change
What an excellent speaker. A lot of reaserchers don't interview well. Eshan Raul should consider taking some communication classes and doing more science communication. Very promising.
@TheMasterashton look I didn't say he was perfect, I said he should take classes on it. I could write out a list of critiques. I stand by my original statement.
I managed a university outreach program and found that grad students frequently had the best combo of knowing what they were talking about and still remembering how the rest of the population thinks to simplify it for the rest of us. This guy is definitely a great example of that!
In a couple years this kid is going to have his PhD and we will be calling him Doctor Raul. He makes people twice his age seem as smart as a box of rocks (me, for example). Brilliant. Great interview Fraser. Future inhabitants of this world won't have to worry about dry skin so there's that.
What is missing is the description how density and temperature changes as you go deeper on this world (assuming almost pure H2O atmosphere). Starting from 1 bar pressure level (I assume temperature about ~600K there) and going deeper, at what depth do we reach 10 bar? 100 bar? When do we reach density comparable to liquid water, ~1g/cm3 (IOW: at what depth it's no longer "atmosphere" but more like liquid mantle?), and how hot is that level? I can find similar information for Uranus/Neptune, would be interesting to compare.
Could we harvest cosmic radiation for energy on long missions? Cosmic ray panels in multiple layers around the ship? Even in star ship 3 meters of protons is unfeasible until we have a way to layer the outside rather than inside.
Since the atmosphere is mostly steam, apparently what are the possibilities of that steam being water eventually turns into hydrogen and oxygen in the future somehow
Would there not at least be a point of which the water reaches high enough in its atmosphere that it would cool down for a almost like airborne biological element?
I believe in such a vast universe life can exist in many different ways. Lifeforms could evolve in many different chemical makeups than here on this tiny rock in the infinite universe. Just my opinion and a thought I’ve had for many years.
I heard on another channel that the earth has tilted 32 inches I believe is what they said. Is this true and if so what are your thoughts about this? Thanks Fraser.
That dude has no problems with getting laid. I can see the girls/boys fawning over him. "Wow you are going to be an Astrophysicist? thats so hot" "I love Astronomy, I am a Capricorn" Well obviously that just applies to a small subset of people. Good to see that young people are recognizing how interesting Space is. The future is going to be amazing.
Life is all over around in our milkyway galaxy and all over the univesers, because of our ignorence and we dont want to read , so we dont want to reconize it
How lazy can you get? He does an interview about a planet he researched, and doesn't even know several basic facts like how far the planet is from its sun, etc. If he can't remember this information, amazing that he can't, then he should refresh his memory before the interview.
PLEASE see this as a positive comment. I love your videos, but what I really hate is the closeups of your face where I can see the groove of your tongue, and even worse when the saliva on your tongue makes little bubbles that pop or merge into other bubbles. Please change your lighting so it doesn't point down your mouth and I have to see these things. This video is OK in this aspect, but sometimes I just have to stop watching. I also love to see your interviews with earlier career scientists. It not only gives you a sense of cutting edge, but it reminds me of the early years of my career when I was so passionate about science. All the best to you.
Please tell Eshan Raul, there is nothing called a "lenth," or, "wavelenth." The words he is trying to say are, "length," or, "wavelength." There is a g in there. It is not silent. Also, the constant vocal fry is intensely off-putting.
Maybe we should keep our condescending comments to ourselves… No need to be rude or tear someone down because you don’t like the way they talk. No one needed to hear your opinion on that.
@@Leolickpole if you read the guy’s history of posts on this channel (the mobile app lets you do this) then you’ll see a consistent pattern of bizarre behavior like the post above. either a performative troll or a socially defective person
I'm sure every generation says it, but the intelligence of young people these days is amazing. Fascinating, thank you Fraser.
Yeh no lol go deeper online
@@ugiswrong lol, yeah, I've seen them too! :)
Right? How’s he sound like he’s been doing this for 20 years?
Good grief, I'm old enough to be his dad. I guess we all get there eventually! What a charming young chap, I hope he has a great career ahead of him.
Exobiology would be such a cool field to join. Collaborating with all those different scientists sounds so interesting. I like what Eshan said "This is what science should look like"
Pretty cool interview, thank you!
sheesh man this kid is so smart and I want to be like him, great speaker and super knowledgeable. Gonna do great things and already has.
The future. So good to see a hard working young man excited about his field and discoveries. Young men like this will be going to the Moon and Mars.
Fraser you have to get this young bloke back again.l He is great@!!!!!!!
great interview, interesting guest.
Frazier, kerp this guy's details, I have a feeling he can be a real asset. Such an eloquent person.
This is the planet I was asking about in your live show a few weeks ago. Thanks for the interview👍

Saying "you know" as every 3rd word does not make him an excellent speaker. Quite the opposite

Steam? So they have Half Life there
@@SK_2521 only 2 though

Great questions and great answers!!
Great and really interesting interview. Thanks.
Fascinating! Check in with your guest once in a while to talk with him again.

To whomever prepared the on-screen text, it's "Wisconsin", not "Winsconson"
Spoken like a true Winsconsonian. ~_^
Awesome to see a kid with respect to talk with interest and intelligence. That sounded condescending but it was meant as a compliment.
It's condescending

obviously the name they should give the steam world is Heist
Can we measure Earths signature from our moon during an Earth eclipse as seen from the moon?
Are they gonna name it Steampunk 1a?
