I saw Gary live several times, his energy levels and his ability to play any style perfectly was astounding. He wasn`t the greatest singer, but he was the best guitar player ever in my humble opinion. The mid 80`s he got into the heavier stuff, which wasn`t his best, he said so himself, no one sounded like Gary Moore, he was one of the very few you always recognised his playing.
Last gig I went to at the Apollo, saw so many bands there, and that stage !!! Those who have been will know what I mean. Gary was a legend and a really nice guy.
Saw Gary Moore open for RUSH here in San Diego back in the day...what a talented great player, what a great sound ...wonderful material..Thanks for posting this...!!!🙂🙂🙂
Superb, thanks for uploading. Some of these songs ended up on the WE WANT MOORE! Live album (Oct 1984 released). I last saw Gary Moore live on stage at the Point Theatre, Dublin during August 2005 playing lots of Thin Lizzy classics [Philip Lynott's birthday gig that coincided with the statue unveiling outside Bruxelles on Harry Street, Dublin]
I saw Gary at "Fem-øren" in Copenhagen, Denmark, back when he had just released "Still got The Blues" Being a Life-long Thin Lizzy fan.. That was obviously.. Well, Beyond great.. .
