Thank you for the video,I live in Bangkok and I often need to be back in the uk,my next trip back I am going to stop in Saudi Arabia for the Tyson fury fight in December and the one after that I will stop in Sri Lanka, thank you again
Sri Lanka after the inflation is pretty expensive according to South Asian standards, a large strong beer can costs almost 2.23 USD, that's very expensive for a Sri Lankan local, but still cheaper when compared to other luxury destinations like Maldives
Sri Lankan people offer quality service for great price ! Don’t mistake by conversion rates. Sri Lankan government should promote middle of the country more than the beach . That’s where we got our niche !! There is more money involved in hiking , tours , camping more just beach.
60,000 srilankan rupees/ month, i think it is atleast twice or thrice expensive, may i know the area? is this being charged because you guys are foreigners?
@@kalyananaramansantanam6006 I hav known some tuk drivers who earned like 150k per month. some months more than that. there are so many oppertunities if you wanna work hard. but the expenses are also there. fuel and maintenance are needed since you on road for a long time...
Dont spread your pathetic ideas here mate, You are the one who is been cheap here.Sri Lanka’s strength lies in its diversity, offering something for every traveler, whether budget or luxury. Labeling budget travelers as unwanted is narrow-minded and dismissive of the positive impact they have on local communities. Every destination grows by welcoming all types of visitors, not by exclusion. Sri Lanka doesn’t need to become ‘the next Bali’ - it has its own unique identity that attracts a range of people, and that’s what makes it special.
Thank you so much for the valuable feedback. It's means lot to us.. 💪❤️🤗

Don't promote Sri Lanka as a cheap destination. We don't WANT budget travelers and don't want to see Sri Lanka as a Next Bali.
