Funky Text Effect Inkscape

In this video, I demonstrate how to create custom patterns using path effects and how to combine the pattern with your text using boolean operators. It’s all easy to do and can give you some great effects.
This effect works well for T-shirt designs, logos, banners and more.

why can the "rotate copies" effect not be circular, but compressed along the Y axis to the state of an ellipse?

Since you are rotating a shape around a point, it should be circular. Perhaps your resolution is affecting your display. If you find out why it is happening, please come back and leave a solution in the comments - If it has happened to you, it will have happened to others.

@@CreateForFree I used a perfect circle, and the ellipse has a ratio of 1:2. it's not about the screen resolution (the circle is round). I haven't found a solution yet
