Forgiving your partner for cheating, although in most cases they did not truly forgive them, is usually due to fear of being the one to end the relationship. "Forgiving" your partner is often just a case of hoping for things to get back to the way they were and giving a second chance, even when they know it won't work out. I haven't watched that video so I may be spouting off nonsense but it seems realistic enough to me.

Forgiving your partner for cheating, although in most cases they did not truly forgive them, is usually due to fear of being the one to end the relationship. "Forgiving" your partner is often just a case of hoping for things to get back to the way they were and giving a second chance, even when they know it won't work out.
