Do you know what melody this song is based off? Gaslight Anthem's "red at night" and Billy Bragg's "Way over yonder in the minor key" both follow this same vocal melody. Is there a classic folk song that these songs are based around?
I was referring more to the Twang of the song... which at its core is much older then those two songs.
