and people kept saying I was "wasting abx" be pre emptively injecting people with it after they call out being bitten, imagine the saves done to the limited amounts of Calyxanide (rare early on)
I tested the Broad-spectrum Antibiotics, 1 for husk almost 24%, 2 should be 54%. 1 Broad-spectrum Antibiotics should be -30 husks, but husks is still increase 5% in treatment time (60s), so it should be -24.X% for 1, and -54.X% for 2 (2 Broad-spectrum Antibiotics in the same time).
i once was going a cave and i didn't have any calyx ide or broad spectrum anti biotics and i just chugged 4 of rum and got back to the ships doctor at 99% husk infection. i then pestered him for some anti biotics and got no where because we were playing neuro trauma and for some reason the doctors didn't want crew to be running around with basic medical supplies
the last time i gave someone basic medical supplies as a doctor on neurotrama they got into hemotransfusion shock (they took incompatible blood from a NPC)
@@howwwwwwwwwww I mean it should be fine if you just give them stuff like morphine and sutures blood packs aren't needed unless it's a worse case scenario where you get internal bleeding or loose a limb also if someone manages to "accidently" overdose on morphine they weren't gonna make it anyway and sutures are just easy mode bandages that don't give you an infection if you don't replace them after awhile or straight up remove them not to mention they are dirt cheap to fabricate
@@emeraldhawk5148 you actually need bandages or plastiseal for fractures & dislocations, also not everyone would have 30 medical for sutures which is why i still put bandages as well. as for blood bags, i still give them out (always O-), if they refill it from a NPC and die from incompatible blood thats on them
Remember you can drink the rum until it's nearly done and then use it like a medical item for a higher dosage than normal making it a pretty good medium level treatment tbh.

That's a Broad-spectrum Anti Biotics thing. (Plus if you pause you can see rum being dragged on the second tab, and antibiotics on the third.) Judging by this, Rum seems generally less risky to use, if you're okay puking your guts up. Two doses of Antibiotics gets the job done, apparently, but causes nasty internal damage.
U cant control ur PC once u start convusling, after 100% ur practicaly a dead man walking (and biting) but u CAN go husk without """"""dying""""" by equiping urself with a husk gene.
you can also save them from 100% if you are quick enough to get to the outpost doctor learned this the hard way after restarting a save about 3 times to try and rescue an ai crew it worked

I've completely 'cured' Husk infection before using antibiotics and it seemed to disappear, but it ended up coming back later. I don't know if it just disappears when it gets to a small enough level or what but it didn't seem to actually cure it just delay.

It should be worked in 0 to 75%, not 80%, read Husk Infection wiki
