Word. Been playing Sora since he dropped and yea after that initial period u realize how he has a top 5 up air and then his combo game it amazing plus his aerials are made safe with his floatyness
My controller I have isn't fast enough to for the sora double jump
@@DreamEater358 I have thought something similar as well, I found the issue I had was that I wasn't short hopping on the first jump which is required for idj. try labbing your short hops, but also you may be right and your controller may be bunk. although I know I was able to hit it with a reasonably well priced controller. like 45-60 bucks depending on where you get it. The link was super long but just google smash bros gamecube controller. should be black with the smash logo in the middle #soraon

This set is one of my most favourite sets of all-time! The energy of the crowd, the solid commentary and Kameme's Sora was all so refreshing to watch! I was almost jumping out of my seat because of how wonderful this set was.
I always believed Sora was a very good character with so much potential and I'm very happy to see Kameme show the power of Sora! Great stuff to Zomba as well. A very solid player for sure.
I didn't even watch the fight complete but tamn, I could see how Kameme delays side b to not be predictable (7:30) and how he knows his character and his weakness, damn is Sora in a new level.

Anyone who thinks Sora's bad gotta watch Kameme. He mastered so many kill confirms and he knows how to mix up his recoveries better than any other Sora player I've seen.

Nair is good because it leads into confirms but the disjoint and hitbox on up air is insane
Uair is my favorite move. It hits 180 degrees above him, is active for a good amount of time and has some nice range. It even has some decent low percent combo potential. That being said, I think nair has to take the cake. It has SO much utility and is pretty damn safe in the right hands. Again, Uair is still great.

Finally we have the evidence to back this up lol. I barely see anyone play Aegis just because they like the character. It's always because "they top 3." Like, dude. Leo couldn't even make them work like Byleth. Just because a character is top tier, doesn't mean they should be your main.
@@Spyder-Marth I know right? Like theres 87 characters in the game. Y’know how hard it is for every one of them to be represented in competitive? And get grand finals? Even good characters don’t make it often because they require more time to learn
Instead we have a bunch of great players playing the most basic characters because basic characters are easy to learn. Like Terry is good but you can’t pick him up like Pythra and expect to master him in a day. That and some people have played these characters for forever spanning multiple games, and know the character inside and out
Sora is the most technical in the game (2nd behind Steve). Kameme didn’t even abuse the idj which is Sora’s bread and butter. Just goes to show that he isn’t fully optimize yet!

My job makes it hard to play offline. And honestly the sora confirms he was getting aren’t that hard if u get a feel for them. I went to a local friendly thing in my area and I was shocked how many consecutive nair loops into upsmash/upB I was getting. Online it feels impossible or pointless. I think online for especially sora just makes u worse since it’s very feel based from that first nair.

Really good Sora play here. I don't get why people say Sora is a weird character, tbh. To me he felt like a return to the basics of the sword archetype with some added stuff, and definitely much simpler than the majority of the DLC cast. When I picked Sora it felt so organic to me, as if he combined everything I had learned from using diferent characters until that point.
