Love seeing a jeep pulling out a giant lifted up chevy 4x4 or any other full size 4x4 😂❤!! That's exactly why I've been a loyal jeep owner for over 20 years now!! You just really can't beat a jeep at the job it's been designed to do from the very first day!! THE JEEP IS A CREATURE THAT COULD GO ANYWHERE AND DO ANYTHING!! THIS IDEA CAME AS THE UNITED STATE'S WAS PREPARING TO GET IN THE FIGHT DURING THE 2ND WORLD WAR!! JEEP ARE THE BEST YOU CAN GET IN ANY SITUATION OFF ROAD DRIVING REQUIRES ❤
I just got a 2007 3.7 Commander and looking forward to making it look nice with my son. Could anyone tell me what a good lift would be all around? ive got the ugly low front end and not sure what lift to get.
I hve a 4.7 2006 Commander Had to replace shiftera year ago Problem is Chrysler Daimler does not make shifter anymore Had to get a used one Which was a helluva job Love my commander But worried about shifter I hve lifted it 2" highwuth 2 " wheel spacers Looks pretty decent😊
nice jeeps I would say they are off to a good start as far as projects go seemed like none of them had good tires For wheeling looked like fun I have been looking towards a jeep commander have any of these guys lifted there's more then a couple of inches and if so how does IFS and quadra drive system hold up?
Wrong. If no little T-handle next to the gear selector, it's 2wd. Commanders did not come with AWD, just 2WD or 4WD (two types of 4WD, but T-handles for both).
If you go under your jeep and see your 2 drive shafts then it should be AWD. It is ok for offroad I have taken mine into some light offroading and will perform alot better than a 2wd.
The Commander did not come with AWD. You may be thinking of Full-Time 4WD, which is what you would be in if you did not lock the transfer case by pulling up on the T-handle. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep_Commander_(XK)#Off-Road_Capabilities All 4WD vehicles will have two driveshafts.

Was pretty funny seeing the jeeps be afraid to actually go into the mud. One tire doesn't count! Good to see these Commanders off road though.
Water was pretty deep and they don't have snorkles. Wouldve been cool to see one try
What lifts are you guys running on these commanders?
Awesome I have one here on Massachusetts 2007 4.7
Why do you have flags ?
If only Jeep Commander Interior door handles were designed as well as their 4WD components.
Right.
I love the door handles.
I'm building the motor (Hemi) on a Commander, about 600hp. Any tips on other mods I would need?
PS. Didn't know there was a Commander club. Cool

Is this out by 74w in Indiana ?
3.7v6??
@luvmycommander What engines do those jeeps have in them? Im looking at a V6....Is it enough?
No very underpowered
@@theninja9563 Not the Hemi. Plenty.
The 3 litre diesel really is the best option...unless you're in the u.s. where you are limited.
Question my commander don't have the low or high 4x4 but it still a 4x4 is that right or em I'm wrong

The Commander actually is classified as "AWD" If it wasn't then we would have 4Hi and Lo! Now is it a "true AWD?' That I don't really know

@@rockymountboy Incorrect there is a fully AWD model I had it and did offroading with it and it did pretty dam good.
