The perfect person for an interview, he never fails, storytelling God, & Big Boy is definitely a legend in the game. Love how he comes up with witty sarcasm on any interview
75 yrs & only 5,100 basketball players? We definitely need to make sure our kids get trades and or a good education . This is a path to failure otherwise
This lets you know that even very good isn't good enough. Players that fans call sorry are still so much better than almost everyone in the real world.
@@linh811 Well I don't totally agree with that. I can name at least 5-10 guys from the streets that could've made it if they had their heads on right. I have a cousin that was a beast but a knucklehead. 6'5 215 baller, ball handler, shooter, could play in the post but wanted to sell dope. He spent 20 years of his life in and out of prison from 1993-2013. I'm pretty you know at least one person that threw their life away when they had all of the ability to play a sport at the highest level. Growing up in the hood I saw this all the time. I have another cousin that was stupid smart but chose to sell drugs over going to college or military. He took the ASVAB Test for the Air Force, missed one question on the entire test but chose the streets over his education.
Another great interview I was entertained the whole time My man Kenny Smith was inspirational and I'm definitely going to get his book not necessarily for me but for my boys
An amazing interview. Kenny Smith after all said and done, if I’m an NBA Owner, I would find a role for Kenny as a future GM. He’s has all the leadership intangibles and charisma.
I am so appreciative of watching this podcast. I learned and laughed, and I received wisdom. I thank you, Big Boy, for having this conversation with Kenny, and if you choose to, please let Kenny know, and I will buy the book and look forward to having it signed one day. Stay Fantabulous.
Wow!! Kenny!!! I remembered you from college, from Houston the NBA you are one of the Greats! I'll have to find your Book. This was a great interveiw!!!
During his NBA career, Kenny earned a little more than $13 million in salary. He is paid a salary of $4 million per year for his work as a basketball analyst for TNT.
Yet Kenny has to work 5 years to earn what Barkley earns in 1 year if Kenny earns 4 million a year as claimed. Barkley earns around 20 million a year from TNT. Don't get me wrong it's excellent money regardless, a solid 1 million salary is excellent money but it isn't a fair deal paying Barkley 5x more than Kenny.
I love Shaq , every time he goes buy something for himself, he blesses someone in the store with something they need . He's a good man , not many people does that .
Kenny’s role ok the rockets was just perfect for what he would become on inside the nba, we give so much credit for Shaq and sir Charles but Kenny and Ej really bring so much to the table especially for the average fan, I hope Kenny and Ej frigid out whatever difference they might have, it pains me I’ve been able to see them fueding but I couldn’t see it for sSkip and Shannon
Ya keeps saying he's underrated, he was a shooting guard playing in the Michael joy in error.besides those 2 years that he was in Houston that he actually was a star player, he wasn't even the best player on the rockets, a large wanted Sam Cosell did way more than he did, I could tell you only watch basketball do UA-cam clips
"Sweeped" is a legit word, from the ghetto slang dictionary though 😂😂😂...goddamn English is my 4th language and I was like, wha, what did he just say, sweeped?😂
I love TNTs basketball show and I love Kenny on this show but sometimes that New York arrogance is simply nauseating an annoying like dude tells everybody Charles Barkley's contact but not his because he ”dosent want to get followed home" but had no problem telling everybody Charles Barclays contact but said it was in the paper anyway but the kind of people that would Rob or follow Chuck home to potentially do something crazy for Chuck's money usually aren't the people that read the paper
Fabulous interview, throughly enjoyed it! And YES God is good, God is good all the time! 👆🏼 Too bad I wasn’t younger…would welcome running into Kenny. 🤷

Underrated quote that quietly was said “Champions do daily what everyone does occasionally.” 🔥 🔥 🔥
What is the time stamp bro..pls
75 yrs & only 5,100 basketball players? We definitely need to make sure our kids get trades and or a good education . This is a path to failure otherwise
in that 75 years less than 5k rappers/singers have been a success..I agree with you

@@rdogletree4543with scouts on every corner of the earth, everyone that can be in the NBA is in the NBA.

Kenny! My fav PG ever. Was 14 he won our first championship. Don’t think another will over take that.
The only thing I hate about Inside the NBA is one day it will have to end. I wish they were a cartoon like the Simpsons 😂😂😂😂
This is very great good one big Boi and his crew

This was a great show. Informative and humorous. Glad Kenny is doing well after his divorce.

Shout out to the lady that remebered Kenny from his 10 second scene on a flop movie
*This is a great interview, but why's Kenny wearing a seatbelt??*
Funny how he says Chuck is wider. I saw them in Dallas during the All-Star game at Cowboy stadium and that was the first thing I said......
