That looked like the most comfortable lap I’ve ever seen at the Nurburgring

It still can't hold a candle to the Porsche 919 evo lap of 2018 (5.19 lap time!), even if it went flat out.
The way that thing so effortlessly builds speed is impressive. I would love to see it driven in anger around there, but I dont think many people are going to with a 10 million euro price tag.
Mischa would made that lap 30 seconds faster 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
If you want see a real fast lap go check out the Porsche 919 evo lap of 2018. Smashed the previous record by a minute (5.19)
These cars are a bit ridiculous in that sense. Even if Jeff Bezos was driving one (he wouldn't even notice ten millions missing from his bank account), he wouldn't want to risk such an exclusive car. The "regular" Chiron is much more sensible in that way.
Of course it'd be nice to even cruise around in any Bugatti. I'm sure it'd be quite an experience even without flooring it.
Now I really want to see that car piloted by Robert Kubica. One can dream.
My thoughts are about the same. It was like "look how fast that car is", and not drive this car fast at all. Yes it`s amazing car, but boring drive really. Kubica in that M4 would eat this bugatti in the corners.
@@maciekapocaliptic Well if somebody drove Bugatti like kubica does m4 not many cars could come close.
@@maciekapocaliptic Because the car is there for research purposes, the car is worth 8 million, I don't think he wants his wreck this car.
My thoughts exactly, it seamed a little boring. I understand the car is stupid fast and stupid expensive but you just can’t enjoy that video like the Kubica one when the driver is very clearly holding back.
@@martindworak Even more unfortunate that the ultra-rich that buy these things never use them on track... this is probably the fastest we'll ever see a Bugatti around the Ring
As kids we would be like… WOW that speed-o-meter goes up to 260, must be a fast car, on some Golf that would most likely run out at 200. Now imagine there would have been a car with 500 on the speedo! :D

11:35 Misha’s reaction after needle went from 150 to 200 in 1/10 second 😂😂
The only time the accelerator was depressed 100%
That's cause the car went airborne for a split second. It didn't actually accelerate that fast...
When an all-wheel drive car is skidding with all four wheels at a speed of 160 km/h - I am interested.
That car basically ignores any elevation changes on the track. Like "Oh, this hill where some cars have trouble accelerating? Didn't even notice it was there."

Sus
Let me get this straight. He floored it twice during the lap if we don't count the little bit at the end on the straight and Misha giggled once of those 2 times. That shows how much this car is fast.
He was so careful! Still, what a car! Seeing the speedometer jump from 100-200 in like 1 second is crazy!!
If you watch the horsepower meter, he actually rarely gives full throttle. But the few times he does give it, it literally goes like a rocket :) Smooth lap!
He did a tourist race. The car could go so much faster without a passenger (edit: and other drivers on the track), it's ridiculous.

That engine and the way it sounds under load is just bonkers! To see that car bombing around the Ring you just can't help smiling and it's unreal to see this car, as heavy & luxurious as this one is flying around the track! I love it!!
Great to see the Traction Control lighting up on a 4WD car at 150kph 🤣
It was almost as interesting just how much the TC light was blinking and the driver wasn't even reacting as if the car wasn't actually sliding or moving "that much"
@@DrPyro2k thats because its 4wd, doesnt require much correction with tc on
@@DrPyro2k TC is not only for when car goes sideways... It's when the car predicts the car will either spin one or two tires and going over hills/high curves. Also when hitting close to full throttle in a 1600hp and alooot of torque with street tires, the TC is working it's ass of.
These cars are really fat whales, but then it's really a challenge to make a super luxury car feel tame when driven regularly while also being a missile
At the end of the vid the traction control shined up at around 220/230/240.... that is sick on a 4WD
Really enjoyable to see this kind of performance! Would love for you to do an outro after the lap to give your impression.
Even though the driver isnt even close to the limit of the car (dont blame him), you can tell just how incredibly stable this thing is. Amazing.
that thing is mad!!! love how much the TCS kicked in while taking it fairly easy (by the looks of it)
The funy thing was when TC kicked in at like 130kph
If it looks slow, it is actually very fast. If the driver is pushing hard and the car is sliding/the driver has to correct, it looks and feels faster, but you are loosing a lot time.

Yes, In the entry to the second low speed hedwigshohe corner at 12:10 mark you can clearly hear the front tires scrabbling for grip at a miserable 97kph even with the drivers efficient steering technique with minimal steering input as the vehicle struggles with it's huge weight transfer deficiency especially at this low speed downhill corner. I made a bit of a ridiculous analysis comparing this footage with Misha's stock Toyota GR86 video in slightly damp conditions achieving 94 kph minimum speed for a very short moment but the recovery of speed was much quicker in the same corner, the conditions where worse and still the front end wasn't hopelessly scrabbling for grip even though this GR86 had been driven till that point by Misha on the edge of it's grip . These 2 ton Bugatti's don't amaze me how fast they can corner. It amazes me that these vast vehicles with a high polar moment of inertia have been engineered to create as much traction as physically possible which simply accelerates the degradation of thermal longevity. Even utilizing 50 percent of performance as we can see by looking the throttle graph this utter monster has cooked it's tires and probably used 25 L of fuel in the process whilst cruising a single lap of Nordschleife. Well done Bugatti. They don't allow other car manufacturers to use their worlds longest vehicle runway but they can not claim an official top speed record themselves. Bugatti announced the fact that it had broken 300mph even though it was actually not a record. To be clear, the rules for setting a speed record according to Guinness are as follows. The car must achieve the speed in two directions on the same road within 60 minutes, with the average of the two speeds the result. As you probably know by now, the Chiron only ran the speed in one direction. Bugatti says the main reason for this is that, after decades of cars pounding over Ehra-Lessien’s surface in the clockwise direction, the tarmac structure has rolled that way. Run it in the opposite direction, and you’re working against the grain, causing huge heat build up in the tyres (which ends badly). Their car is so heavy that they do not dare drive it against the GRAIN of tarmac when going a the opposite direction for their record to be official. It is interesting to see how little time the engine is producing more than 500bhp. It's a beautiful thing but it really does go to show how redundant 'mega bhp' cars are. (I am assuming that the 0-1000 is a power meter measuring in bhp). Great video Misha, very interesting.
It says PS under so it is a boost meter, not exactly HP
@@tominotopia thank you for that observation, in that case i think it will be the german equivalent of horse power. PS is not to be confused with psi (PS = pferdestarke = literally 'horse strengths' if i remember correctly). PS and BHP are pretty much interchangeable with only about 1% difference between them. I would be a bit worried for the engine if it was boosting to 1000+psi.
