As much as I love how this can completely revolutionize search engine and might put even Google business at risk but the major problem is that copilot takes data from different search engine. Search engine itself feeds on people's data. However when more user will depend on copilot, less people will start discussing topics on forums, chat, blogs, etc which means copilot will slowly stop generating new answer because there's no discuss from where the data can be harnessed into the copilot. Certainly they need someway for people to ask questions as well as provide new discussion topic for copilot to continuously take over search engine business
AI can still have data from users' inputs even if we stop using web forums or creating websites. This is because AI models are trained on massive datasets of text and code, which can include data from a variety of sources, such as books, articles, code repositories, and social media. Once an AI model is trained, it can be used to generate new text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way, even if it is not connected to the internet.
Its ok. When people discuss with AI they unknowingly provide their knowledge to it. So its ok if it is unable to pull data from forums while it is pulling it directly from humans.
I also had this concern. But if some topic is not well explained or a problem is not well solved by copilot, people will still search for these new topics in forums to discuss them and other platforms and will increase the amount of data which AIs can learn from. If something is already discussed in many varieties of perspectives, there is no need to have new discussion on that.
@@blandyblanco I am with you on this. Either way, Copilot was never meant to replace the human capacity to control quality. It's only there to provide efficiency and quantity.
