2011 World Series Game 2. It was such a close game, and the Rangers came back in the 9th to even the series up at one game a piece. Unfortunately, the contest was overshadowed by Game 6.

Every postseason win that year was SUPER stressful, this one especially. The Blue Jay's made it a tough game and series! I'm just glad the Royals came out on top
Seeing the Royals in the playoff hunt this year brought me back to these 2014-15 game recaps....man, yeah I forgot what nail-biters a lot of these games were, I remember going to work the following mornings tired but totally running on adrenaline.
This game was the loudest I have EVER heard Kauffman. We were determined that year, we were not gonna let anyone stop us and the fans were so behind this team. You went anywhere in KC and 90% of people were wearing Royals stuff, the city was so united over this team and I really miss it
I know Toronto lost but that Bautista homer in the eighth was one of the most badass moments I have seen

My favorite part of this Royals win was that the coaching staff scouted Jose Bautista and knew he had a tendency to throw the ball to second base rather than hit the cutoff man. This allowed Cain to score the winning run from first base. What a game!

I enjoyed watching this team play more than any team I can remember watching in my 52 years at that point. They were absolutely magical in their belief in themselves. It was thrill after thrill after thrill. Keep the line moving was their M.O. Id take the 2015 K.C. Royals MLB team over any team anyone wanted to put up against them. I'll never forget them. Man that was so fun watching that team play.

Man that 2015 Blue Jays team was awesome. They belong with the 2013 Tigers and 2018 Brewers as some of the best recent baseball teams to not win the pennant.

As a Jays fan, this loss was a tough one to swallow but the Jays battled right to the last out. Had the tying & go-ahead runs in scoring position with one out in the 9th but just couldn't push those runs across. After this game I said 'If they were good enough to beat the Jays they better damn sure go on and win the World Series.'. And they did.
What's forgotten and not shown in this video is there was like an hour long weather delay in the 8th after Bautista tied the game. Wade Davis had already started pitching and had to wait for an hour before he threw again. Also, his pitching performance in the 9th inning is one of the most impressive feats I've ever seen in sports

I can't believe how often Ryan Madson blows it in big moments - I swear he does it with every team he goes to.
Yyyyyyup. 🙄 Great arm for about 6 out of every 7 pitches. Then there's that 1 pitch that he always left hanging out as a free gift to the batter.

The Jays sold heavy in the 9th Pompey and Pillar did everything they could to tie and to take the lead and the Jays just sold I can’t even blame Donaldson there were two outs but those other sellers put him in the worst spot
