Eovaldi with one of the best losing pitching performances ever. I like this idea of games with an iconic moment that most people probably remember, but showing that the rest of the game was pretty good in its own right.
You know you did everything you possibly could, when you get a standing ovation from your dugout after giving up a walk off home run in the world series. Eovaldi might have lost the battle, but the dodgers bullpen was devastated by his one man performance. Bostons bullpen was already devastated so Eovaldi forcing the dodgers to use all their pitchers as well payed off when next game the dodgers bullpen collapsed
Just gonna say, I’ve watched almost every video on this channel since the end of 2016. I enjoy watching a lot of highlights channels, but this one is the superior one by far. It’s really cool to see somebody have the type of passion for baseball like I do, and it’s a breath of fresh air
I remember this game so well. I live in the Netherlands where the games start 6 hours later due to the time zone so we started watching at 10 or 11pm if I recall correctly. Got a whole group from my baseball team to watch together and it was a blast.
This was quite the game! I remember staying up late on a phone call with a group of friends about it; one of the few times the conversation was sports-related. Lots of good memories. Thanks for continuing this series, your work isn't unappreciated!
Nathan Eovaldi. What a performance. Even though the Red Sox lost this game, I think everyone seeing his determination and will to pitch for as long as possible in extra innings of a World Series game fired up the team.
I know Muncy is the hero in that game, but the legend of Nate Eovaldi was born that night. I don’t think there has been a better postseason pitching performance since that. One of the best moments that happened after that home run, was when Nate got back to the dugout, hanging his head, his teammates patting him on the back, letting him know what a job well done he did. This is a hot take, but Nate was the player of the game in this one.
I remember watching this as a Red Sox fan, and staying up until 3:30 AM EST. I watched Eovaldi keep dicing and making sure the Dodgers couldn't get anything done. I was pretty pissed that I watched a nearly 7 and a half hour game only for us to lose. But hey, we won the World Series the next day, so it didn't matter. I was pretty hyped that despite the loss, the Red Sox were part of MLB history (longest postseason game timewise in MLB history).
red sox fan at @0:02 went to game 3 of the ws took a five hour flight from boston just to wear the tiniest logo of their team. Homie was scared of visiting LOL
I love these videos. I only have one complaint: the photo on the front tells the winner B4 I watch it. Takes the suspense out of it. But they r awesome anyway. Thanks .
Just think if Kindler try to be flashy to try to look cool the Red Sox could have won this game and gone up 3-0. Not like it mattered that much but still just a different to think of how different this could have been.
@@matthewdaley746 footballs different. I can actually stand joe in the nfl. Most of the emotion there is already in the plays, except for the field goals. That's was a pretty bad call.

Ain’t nobody forgot this one 😂classic but not forgotten
I was gonna say I remember this one very vividly haha
People really suggest this one for months and then be like "this ain't forgotten" 🤣

Next one's gotta be 2002 WS Game 2 (Angels win 11-10, super back and forth)
I watched that full game and was so happy when la walked it off in 18

I suggest some more of the 2005 white Sox playoffs games. Really underrated championship team!
They're just behind that 04 red socks so people forgot they also broke a 86 years champion drought
Amazing game, I was just happy I stayed awake to see the whole thing. When Muncy finally walked it off, I was like thank goodness I can finally sleep!
Eduardo Nunez gave everything this game - unsung hero
This is a good series, keep it up!
Love this channel. Baseball is my first love and will always be. Thanks for sharing these amazing videos. Keeping the sport alive
Loved the image of Sandy Koufax giving a standing ovation for Walker Buehler

These last 3 have definitely been classics, but I don’t know if I’d say they’re forgotten
Another long game I stayed up to watch
Man this game was amazing
Nobadys saying that on the bottom of the 13 if muncy didn’t get the check swing the game would’ve probably be over
best baseball game i've ever been to.
Do the 2020 NLCS Game 7
Can you Please do one of the games from the 2009 Angels Yankees ALCS Series🙏🏻🙏🏻
The infamous Ian Kinsler game
The 2018 Red Sox were so good that it legit took the Dodgers 18 innings to beat them once
Recommendation: 2005 ALDS, Game 3, Angels vs. Yankees
This is the longest World Series game in history, no one forgot this😂
Just post the whole series and say it’s a forgotten classic
Cubs vs Nationals 2017 NLDS game 5
I remember holding my newborn watching this game, was amazing but couldn’t yell in excitement once Muncy ended it.
I love these videos. I only have one complaint: the photo on the front tells the winner B4 I watch it. Takes the suspense out of it. But they r awesome anyway. Thanks .
It’s a old game bro. Cmon.
real ones stayed up to watch the whole game
Amazing 😍

Brewers vs. Nationals, August 17th, 2019.
Eovaldi gave it everything he had, you hate to see it
We need more!
2014 NLDS 18 inning game giants v nationals
I still cant believe that Kinsler did that
Idk if you can find this game but 2003 ALCS game 7
Crazy that the Dodgers traded Kike, JT, Jansen and Verdugo for Mookie and JD Martinez lol
What team do you think mookie was better in Red Sox or dodgers
This counts as a “forgotten” classic now?

This was a great game but as a Dodgers fan ik we had no shot in this series
Can I pick your next forgotten classic plz
I went to bed after Kinslers error. If the Sox didn’t win the series, he would’ve been to blame. Thankfully they did 😄
Can you do an Angels game for your next classic video?
This game should’ve been over in the 13th. The 2nd baseman rushed it like Puig had 99 speed in Madden
Pedroia makes that play in his sleep. The one negative of this season for Boston was Pedey not getting to play.
Dodgers choking is why I love baseball 😂
Red Sox take the trophy to Boston that year so
It is gone~~~~~~~!!!!!!
joe buck with one of the worst walk off calls in the history of the World Series

Too bad Boston cheated
Who cares. You gotta do what you gotta do. Don’t be mad your team lost.
@@iamjobu6101 Sounds like something a cheating twat would say

these red sox "uniforms" are so fucking bad. I'm still embarrassed they wore pajamas t-shirts in the World Series
